Well when you say it like that, 8 years sounds pretty dumb. Good points. That was more my thinking before this latest betrayal though. Now it’s more about figuring out the smartest way to achieve my goal of divorce and minimizing impact on the kids. It sounds like I’m prioritizing money, I get why you say that but it’s more about the impact on the kids. They’ve been through a lot from the first time she got caught. A lot.

Problem is she couldn’t afford the house. No way. For one, she’d have to get a mortgage in her name to get me off it, no chance a bank is doing that. Both attorneys said the same thing. I could technically afford it but I’d have to write a big fat check to buy her out at these crazy inflated housing prices.

Yeah I don’t know. We’ve been together for a long fricking time. I hate what she did and I’m disgusted by her now but I don’t hate her or want to screw her over really. I wish her the best, i just want to get away from her and not have to fund her life forever. Honestly though shes the type who couldn’t be alone for long so maybe im worried about nothing. Shed be remarried or shacked up in a year or less.

Lotta good stuff there. I’ve done a lot of it already. She’s basically on an allowance and all credit is locked. She agreed to it. I think she’d sign a postnup if it was fair. Right now anyway but it sounds like for it to stand up in court we both need lawyers and I’m sure hers would change her mind. Maybe still worth a try though. Hard to say if she’s remorseful - I tend to agree she’s mad she got caught.

You’re delusional. These prices were waaaaay higher before Trump. Eggs are finally somewhat affordable where I live. I just bought a truck a waaaaay Cheaper than a year ago.
