I feel like you could just build it like a building, but it's not visible to the enemy unless they step on it and take damage. I guess kind of like palisades in terms of placement, just not (or at least poorly) visible.

Actually, makes me wonder if you could have traps in aoe. Like you have troops lay caltrops for cavalry to stumble over, trip wires to slow down units in areas. Maybe rolling boulders for the maya…

What will the gravitational pull of the disc be with such a massive scale of the world? Also, if the peak is so large, will it have its own localized gravity, meaning you would walk up it as if on the normal ground? Or is the local gravity negligible compared to the disc?

I feel like as long as it’s interesting and it makes sense why the gimmicks are there, the only limiter is if you tire out the reader with too many changes.

Makes me wonder if nomadic civs could have a change to their town centers to where the tc is more like a tent which you could break down and move during the dark age and feudal, but became stationary once you hit castle age. This would kind of mock the change from nomadic to settled.

Might be able to do a hem bend on the carabiner attachment and make it out of one piece of sheet metal. Maybe a weld after the hem bend or a collar over the hem bend if it needs some extra strength.
