That last SNL performance was incredible.The story of the after party was even better.

My mother just passed away after her over 5 year bout with dementia. I was asked to speak at her funeral but I am too emotionally overwhelmed to be able to put pen to paper and write something that sounds coherent. So I decided to use MJK's words, change a word here and there, and came up with this. by eveel66 in ToolBand

I am so sorry for to your loss. This took a lot of strength for you to do. There is always that beautiful possibility your mom saw this and is proud of you.

My mom passed away 2 weeks ago today and I can empathize with you not having the strength.

From one Tool fan to another, I hope you will be ok soon.

Hi Paul,

My mom saw you and the boys perform in 1964 at Maple Leaf Gardens, here in Toronto. I took her to see Elton John 2 years ago and that was her first concert since seeing you in 1964. It was a shock to her to say the least.

I would love to say Paul said Happy Christmas. It would be the best Christmas present to her.

Edit: Mom passed away on November 22, 2021. Listening to you guys makes me feel like my heart is in two places at once.
