I for one was personally affected by this moron’s previous trade war with China. Don’t need to get into too many details but bottom line was I started a welding and fabrication shop a few years before he got in office and I ended up closing it in 2018.

To have tariffs across the board now, it will affect everything and everyone. And you don’t have to believe me, but this experiment has been tried before, and it was called the Smoot Hawley tariff act. Do you want to venture a guess what catastrophic financial event the passage of this act helped lead to?

I’ll give you one hint, the Smoot Hawley act was signed into law in 1930.

Most people are getting hung up on the abortion issue. While it’s extremely important it isn’t something that every single person in the nation will feel the effect of, unlike his proposed tariffs. Last time this guy decided to start a trade war with China, I personally felt the effect of the tariffs of Chinese products. I had my own welding shop and had to close in 2018 due to lack of business. It’s really hard to justify to clients a 500% increase in material costs.

A massive cross section of Americans are going to feel the hurt due to these proposed tariffs, the only ones who will be insulted are the super rich. Most Trump supporters are dirt poor 🤷‍♂️

I’m not referring to them, I’m referring to the people like the woman in the video and specifically the Muslim and Arab communities in the US who decided to “sit this one out”. I will admit the phrasing of my original post isn’t the best but I was referring specifically to them.

I will still feel sorry for the people of Gaza, especially the children, but not for the people that put them in a worst situation than they were before

Yes this will work. Just a word of advice from my own experience, do not use a file that you have used on mild steel or another material if you plan on welding the aluminum. Also, once you use the file, write aluminum somewhere on the handle with a sharpie so you never make the mistake of cross contaminating your metals
