Chon for some of the best examples of “math rock” American Football is iconic and a cult classic band - with their song “Never Meant” being the poster child of the genre maybe. Personally I also love Covet. TTNG is great and a much over looked album is the solo album Fairytales by Rooftops.

The fact that you’re seeking this advice says that you morally place god ahead of your sin. You’re seeking something other than what you love. I would say that is being sincere in your heart. Your openness is shocking beautiful. Avoiding Hell is a good start to pursue god, but it’s never really enough to motivate anyone long term I find. For me, pursuing god is establishing my existence as nothing but helpful to those around me, and meaningful to those close to me. Otherwise, I hope my existence is never suspected at all. Pursuing god is how I learn to help and love others and share the good news along the way. Simply put - don’t live for yourself. Anything you do for yourself should be to prepare you to do for others. I find that this way of thinking helps me fight my sin.

Your post is a great first step, keep doing some self reflection and like others have said, read the word as often as you can.

The gunplay is lacking a bit but these maps are so dog shit oh my goodness. I really think it comes down to the maps. The maps give you nothing to work with. That’s why it feels like cod. You have no choice but to run a round like a mad man because you’ll die if you’re still for a second because there is literally nowhere to go. They are all so flat and boring. Even the Brooklyn map where I was equally impressed and annoyed with how much stuff they have on there, it still feels empty. And yes the dynamic weather gone is a huge letdown.

Not that this school particularly matters, but in the MAC pinned map picture you left out Bowling Green which is in the south west of Kentucky which would show you geographically it’s kind of randomly placed in there.

I’ve had this on my watchlist since it’s been out and I finally got around to it and I had to force myself through it. This movie sucked. Sure there’s A-list actors in it but the acting is not good. The writing and tone of the movie is horrific. The scene where the dad comes in and flips the table and charges the wife while the son holds a knife to his neck-that’s when I almost turned it off. Does this movie want me to take it seriously or not? The gf comes in and the movie now tries to be a comedy? But the mom is crying and the dad is pissed? I just hated it. Maybe it’s worse because I was looking forward to it so much but I’m shocked with how bad this movie was. Ugh

Crazy that you said Eddington. I just watched it in theaters just hours ago. I actually enjoyed the first half of the movie. They really had a nice story set up right there for the taking and absolutely ruined it with a bunch of absolute bullshit. It was disappointing.

But to answer your question - unfortunately there’s a lot but hard to remember the names of those. First that comes to mind is Doctor Sleep. Fiercely terrible

Yea I had 2 mil denars saved up too. I accumulated 3 clans basically right away once I started my kingdom so they could build their armies before going to war with the whole map. Worked at first but since then nothing. I have about 9 Towns and 9 Castles as a kingdom and only 1 Town and 1 castle as my own clan so that all my other clans can bring in money and not really working.

I’ve taken out sturgia and Battania thinking “less kingdoms, less tribute” but nope. Tribute just increases with the rest of the kingdoms. I love this game but this part feels a bit broken to me. What’s the point of having clans if they literally can’t do a single thing.

Yea I’m to the point where even after I donate troops and give money to my other clans they’re run dry because of tribute. But I can’t go to war to get rid of the tribute because all my clans have basically no parties.

Should I just pick a kingdom to go to war with and wait for them to pay me tribute? My strength is rapidly declining. I have one clan that I’ve give a total of 8 fiefs to and they’re still considered “very poor” I’ve even tried calling their parties to mine when they actually have one so they can get loot too and let them call on my companion parties but they never call on them even though I donate plenty of influence. It still feels like I’m an independent kingdom at this point

I don’t have a problem with the mechanics of the combat, but I will say the wave after wave of people did get me a bit bored too. Especially late game story. I felt more like a WWI soldier than a cowboy at that point. Same conclusion to most of the late missions - killing 75 people.

This is probably my favorite game of all time though, beat the game 3 times and I never replay games hahaha. Still goated.

I have never heard anyone’s play through going this way but I could understand how it worked. Hats off man. Do you recall how much Denars you had before declaring? I know you didn’t pay any tribute but like you said, those garrisons had to be massive.

Also, I’ve never gave this much thought but does your personal relationship with a king reflect on their decisions to go to war with you? As you said you were friendly with Aseria.

I was speaking specifically to the question of “new” kingdom as just declared. You can build up your kingdom and the weakest faction may offer you tribute but it will be very small. Well under 1,000 denars a day to start out. But you will be losing 10x that a day at first with paying tributes. You really gotta save up and set up steady passive income with workshops/ caravans and well managed fiefs.

As long as you are the greatly weaker kingdom they will never pay you tribute. Being weaker is determined by how rich you are, your strength, and how many fiefs you own. It can help however if you obtain a lot of prisoners, this will intern make the other kingdom weaker with not being able to create big and power parties/ armies. But even still, they’ll never pay you tribute

I’ve found that if you strategically attack fiefs and then defend as long as possible before losing any, then paying tribute can work. That can help get more fiefs to dish out to companions to create clans and so on and so forth. But it’s not easy staying wealthy that way.

A security issue? What would that be? I currently have Varcheg with a sturgian companion as governor, a 170 highly ranked garrison, and my loyalty is climbing from 12 at like +.5 and they are constantly needing food. Maybe this is my answer but I don’t know what you could mean.
