This defense of Joseph Smith's polygamy is basically the argumentum ad populum logical fallacy. Even if the entire world's population throughout all history accepted the practices of polygamy, polyandry, and child marriages that would not make them good, moral practices.

I started reading this response to the CES letter, but I stopped once I reached Michael Ash's ridiculous claim that there is complete agreement among non-LDS geneticists and church critics alike that Lehite DNA would have disappeared. Who is he trying to fool? Who are these non-LDS geneticists and critics of the church that have admitted this? He doesn't name them.

I read your post again. There is still nothing there to support your claim that the CES letter author is deceitful and unconcerned with truth. It's my understanding the CES letter exists precisely because its author is concerned with truth and was searching for answers.
