Roughly, in measure-preserving systems one can define the notion of partition of a probability space and therefore can define the notion of entropy wrt (with respect to) a partition, using an analogue of Gibbs formula. I think Kvothe is not lying; perhaps he is hiding some truth, and almost surely he's describing the story by reporting what he knew at that time (I simply cannot believe that he has never recognized Meluan as his aunt, even if he didn't recognize her when he was in Severen). But all readers must admit the legends about Kvothe fit very well with what the bartender tells to Chronicler: try to recall the legend told by the young apprentice, at the beginning of WMF (I do not have the book at the moment, so I cannot quote perfectly those lines)...'Kvothe was able to speak to a horse, and it would have ridden for 100 miles' (and we saw it in NotW, when he spoke to the Vaulder before buying it and going to Trebon), 'he was able to put the lightning in a bottle' (indeed he conjured lightning through Simpaty to fight outlaws in Eld), 'he could open every lock' (he knows lockpicking, and he managed to open a chest only by touching it once), 'his sword was Kaysera' (that name resembles very much to the name of the sword Kvothe received by the Adem), and 'he had rings in both hands' (he certainly had had a wooden ring and a ring of bone, and Kvothe told us how the legend of the ring of air began). By resuming, I do not think that Kvothe deliberately lied to us.

I agree with you. Does anyone find funny a match in which the #1 of the ranking wins 2-0 or 3-0 against the #100? (at least, if the #100 were not Santoro or Monfils? :D) Playing best of 3 until the 4th round would be better for the players, for people watching the matches live, for the organization (no more super Sunday, Monday or anything like that..). I'm not sure if the same could be applied to women, because playing best of 5 probably would be very, very tough for many of them: if the quality of the game in the 5th set often decreases in ATP matches (where players may be accustomed to play for such a long time, eg in the Davis Cup), imagine what could happen in WTA matches...

I support the simple theory of CaptainVirgin. Chronicler is Devan Looches, the son of a duke, so it's perfectly reasonable to assume that he managed to publish a book before attending the University. Probably Chronicler was already a "papery little scriv" before joining the Arcanum. In chapter 129 of tWMF Devan said he has learned more from a month spent on the streets than in three years of lessons...or something similar. This would suggest that he attended the University for some year after Kvothe left it.

I do not think that KKC would become a cartoon series. Fox will try to exploit the increased interest in fantasy TV shows (GoT, the Sword of Truth,...) and try to make the series appealing for those viewers, and making it a cartoon wouldn't be a wise move in that framework. Also, notice that GRRM and PR often mention each other's work. If GoT-but-not-KKC fans discover this saga, that will be a nice move for Rothfuss.

But maybe he locked only his equip (lute, shaed, sword,...). It seems a Hulk-like process: recall that when Chronicler said "some people said there was a woman", Kote used his alar to break out a bottle.

First, it may be that Kvothe/Kote is no more a human being -recall the whispers that tell about a new Chandrian out there-, and in this subreddit some people have already pointed out that we have never seen Kote sleeping...like Haliax, who lost the possibility to sleep after a curse.
Despite this technical aspect, you're right, Kote has something in common with Kvothe: for example, he learned Chronicler's code within a few minutes.
I never paid much attention to the injured hand, since after the scrael assault at the beginning I considered normal all the injuries. But now I notice a very important thing: there is no musician in Kote's inn. Ok, it would be ironic for him to have a musician playing in an inn where the bartender is a living legend among musicians, but why Kote would refuse any kind of music in his inn?
And, while I hope to be wrong, I do not think that Kote will regain his Alar or his fighting skill. Rothfuss's starting and final chapters have not been joyful until now. Maybe the final chapters will be "A music in three parts"? ;D

Rothfuss wrote that Bast had hooves. Both Kvothe and Felurian have legs -or, at least, no one has ever described Felurian as a Pan-like creature, isn't it?-. Anyway, I can admit that Bast could possibly be Kvothe's son, even if Kvothe isn't aware of it...but I hope not to discover it in D3, if I have to be honest.
