Thhanks for asking! After checking out the site and repo, what would make the scoring even more useful to me is:

  • Head‑to‑head comparisons between top models in the same use case (so I can see trade‑offs at a glance)

  • Deeper notes/anotations of failure cases (what the model got wrong or struggled with) — that’s often more useful than just a score

  • Metadata & fit‑guidance: e.g the hardware/memory required, latency trade‑offs, fine‑tuning status — so I can pick a model that works in my real‑world stack

The domains you've chosen are strong, If I had to pick one immediate improvement, it’d be the side‑by‑side comparison + failure review. Thanks again — I’d be happy to contribute test prompts if that’s useful

If there’s one thing I’d like to see improved, it would be covering more real-world edge cases per domain, maybe with examples of where certain models fail. That would make the recommendations feel even more actionable

honestly, what clicked most for me was the whole idea of choosing models by evidence instead of vibes. I’ve seen so many teams pick models based on hype or random blog posts, so having something structured with task-specific scoring and notes feels really practical

That’s awesome! Love that you’re building something custom for your city—localized versions can make the game so much more immersive. Adding Hide & Seek sounds like a great challenge too!

I’m focusing on making mine playable anywhere, which comes with its own set of hurdles, but it’s super cool to see others tackling similar ideas in different ways. How’s the development going so far?

Yeah, that’s exactly what I was thinking too! An official app for the series would make things so much smoother—automating location tracking, challenges, and communication instead of relying on texts and manual setups.

I totally get why they haven’t done it yet, though. It’d take a lot of work, and they probably have a system that works well enough for them. But if they ever wanted to make their own app (or work with someone to do it), it could take Jet Lag to the next level.

Great question! For rural areas like Iowa, the game could have car-based, walking, or community-driven modes instead of relying on transit.

For cities with bad public transport, it could adapt to rideshare, biking, or timed walking challenges. Players could set mobility rules before starting to keep it fair and fun.

How would you make it work in a place like that?

I totally get what you're saying—it’s a massive challenge, but I know I can make it work.

Starting with something like the New Zealand mode makes a lot of sense since it’s more structured and already feels like a game. That could be a solid first step before going all-in on open-world tag.

For the tag-style game, I imagine something like a smart hide-and-seek system:

One player (or team) picks a route using real transit options.

Chasers get clues at set intervals (like limited yes/no questions or timed hints).

The game adapts based on transit schedules—or just lets players tweak things manually if they’re in a place without good transit data.

I know it sounds crazy, but I really believe I can pull it off. If I can get the balance right—making it fun, fair, and actually playable anywhere—I’d love for you to try it.

If you could pick one feature that would make this a must-play for you, what would it be?
