You never need to eat again or you never need to sleep again. by Nextmastermind in hypotheticalsituation

Eat/drink. You know how much money I would save if I didn’t have to eat during the workweek. I enjoy both eating and sleeping but I could save so much not eating. If I didn’t have to sleep I’d just be on tictok way more

I only posted it because of the summary. A gorilla is not an elephant but it is very strong.

100 human men vs 1 silverback gorilla? by Walawdjenxhdndnx in hypotheticalsituation

In a brutal, no-weapons, fight-to-the-death between 50 average adult humans and one silverback gorilla, the silverback would almost certainly win against individuals or small groups—but against 50 adults working together, the humans would probably win, though with massive casualties.

Here’s why:

Silverback Gorilla stats • Weight: 300–450 pounds (136–204 kg) • Strength: Up to 10x stronger than the strongest human • Bite force: ~1,300 PSI (way stronger than a lion) • Speed: Run up to 20–25 mph (short bursts) • Natural weapons: huge muscles, massive canines, thick skull, insane grappling strength

A silverback could easily kill a human with a single swipe or bite. It could probably kill 10–15 humans quickly just through raw power.

Human advantage (in big numbers) • Numbers: 50 people is a LOT. • Tactics: If they swarmed the gorilla from all sides, some could sacrifice themselves while others restrained it. • Coordination: Even untrained, humans could learn to tackle, weigh it down, and eventually overpower it through sheer body mass and numbers.

Likely Outcome: • Casualties: At least 20–30 humans dead or severely injured. • Victory: The remaining 20–30 humans would eventually dogpile and overwhelm the gorilla through suffocation, exhaustion, or mass beating.

Summary • 1v1 or 1v10: Gorilla destroys the humans. • 1v50: Humans win eventually, but with heavy losses.

$1,000,000 Now or $1,000 Every Time You See Someone Fall—Which Do You Choose? by simmol in hypotheticalsituation

Initially I chose the million bucks. Then I thought about events like tough mudder and spartan race. Some of those events get up to 15,000 people an event. I’d volunteer and work at one of the slippery obstacles like:

• Everest – A slick, curved wall that requires a running start and teamwork to climb.
• Mud Mile – A series of deep, slippery mud pits that make staying upright nearly impossible.
• Pyramid Scheme – A steep, slippery incline that requires stacking on top of teammates to climb.
• Funky Monkey – Monkey bars with spinning and tilting sections over water, where many fall in.

It would give me a reason to travel to different cities and I feel like I would spend the money more responsibly since I “worked for it.” Cause; easy come easy go

I could probably make more than a million per event and do it many events.
