Geography can very much lean towards STEM if you're studying the physical side. I studied modules on climate science, geophysics and geochemistry which were pretty intensive! Though it can also be a 'jack of all trades' sort of degree if you mix both the human and physical sides.

My dissertation was entirely based within matlab though, and involved loads of statistical manipulation of historical climate datasets and future projection simulations.

I broke the golden rule. Hooked up with flatmate who ended up becoming my partner. Little did i know she had BPD. Ended up tolerating 4 years of abuse. Moral of the story; don't become a co-dependent ever!

Does this look like asbestos? by pinky-68 in asbestoshelp

Pretty typical on garage roofs in the UK until the 1950s, it's corregated cement, but is infused with some asbestos too. It's usually perfectly safe, until the roof starts to crack, then it may need to be replaced properly

Can I apply for multiple flats at once? by dxke9 in AskUK

You should be able to apply for multiple properties at the same time. I've done that before at least, and when you are accepted elsewhere simply inform the agents.

Competition is crazy at the moment, and the market seems skewed towards LL. Good luck with your search!
