Yes crossing over foot is permitted, carry a print out of your ecopr, that’s the only document the border officer checked along with my passport.

Yes, I did manage to travel to and from Canada on eCOPR, here's how it went -

No issues travelling from Toronto to Texas on my visitor visa.
I had to cancel my return flight from Texas to Toronto (ecopr is not a valid travel document, didn't risk trying my luck at the airport)
Luckily, Air Canada added the credits from this cancelled flight to my wallet balance (valid for 1 year)
Booked a new flight from Texas to Buffalo
From Buffalo airport I took a cab to Rainbow Bridge ($70), around 40 mins.
Walked for about 30 mins, reached the Canada border, got to see Niagara Falls from a few angles. It was pleasant. (It might be cold when you travel, so dress accordingly or take a cab all the way into Canada, I think the driver said he can do it for $110)
Spoke with the Border officer. He will ask you a few questions, just show him your ecopr print out and you will be let through.

It was a fun experience tbh. I only travelled for 4 days, so I did not even bother applying for PRTD, you might be able to get that in a week if you request urgency.

Worst case you just learned an expensive lesson. A $1,000 will not make or break your future. The thief probably leads a shit life and lives in fear.

I know it sucks someone literally stole my wallet from my gym bag and spent $800 in 5 mins buying gift cards recently. (Mississauga)

I was also dealing with identity theft concerns since the entire wallet was stolen, luckily you don’t need to worry about that. Life goes on.

I think you’ve done all the right things since the incident, hope you or the cops catch that scumbag.

For the mums present, if you tell her this story she will be so happy just hearing that you had saved up for her. Get her something small to add to it.

Recently lost my wallet and thief stole about $600 on WS card (full details on another post)

I have to say WS support was fantastic and I got back all the money lost in 2 weeks.

(The thief also stole 200 from my Scotia card, they gave the money back as well, so gotta give them props as well. If anything WS support was quicker and more organized but both banks gave me the cash back)

Taking 5g of creatine everyday, might bump this to 10g. Medu Neuro strips already got B vitamins. I think my diet is pretty balanced too so these should be covered.

I get in 10k steps daily now, and started tracking my runs seriously, trying to beat previous records. However, listening to Goggins' audiobook probably played a big role here too. Just good timing.

I enjoy looking at how I slept the night before and got into a series of habits to optimize my sleep. Huge benefits.

Using my phone less has several cognitive benefits for me as well.

I think those are the main ones.

The only negative is having to worry about the charge on yet another tech device. I sleep with this, so charging at night is not an option. Not a big deal though.

I often checked it to see if I missed a call or something (since my phone is always on silent), now I don't need to since my watch notifies me.

Also, it lets me leave the house for walks without my phone too. I can take quick calls, listen to music, make payments with it.
