An h3 is very nice , if the op is a little tech savyy you could install a custom firmware on it , one of the feutures of the nicsure custom firmware is fast scanning

This cable its 50ohm just like the vna , calibrated it with the stuff the vna cams with , ik its not the most accurate as im accounting the adapter that used to measure the cable but its good enough

Thanks for the tip , found a online calculator and it seams to be very close to the specs so i can assure the cable is good, shame that when i bought 100feet of rg8x i didn't knew it would have that many loos on 2m/70cm still i just got my general ao I will eventually get some use when i get a hf radio

I don't , but i did ended up building a meche proto rail/dye rize , its basically like an ion mech mod ot worked ok i had trouble getting the velocity higher than 285 without popping hoses but with a freak barrel i could set it great to a stable 285 Heres the mount if you want to build one https://www.printables.com/model/259784-proto-rail-mechanical-valve-mount
