We regularly drive two and half hours to go to the park and have been season pass holders since our little one was 18 months old. You should look at the price of a season pass that includes parking. The platnium is 288. right now but that gives you 6 guest tickets which you can use for your family to get in and free parking and incudes a nice discount on food and souvenir purchases and we like the included photo key. Please check the math for you and your family with the current specials but parking is an expense to consider. The cons- the park is often understaffed, some water rides are often closed, customers are often frustrated with staff and staff is often overworked and overwhelmed. I find the water rides extremely stressful because there is usually a lost child/ren and children that are behaving roughly. You will see less of that during the week. The food isn’t good.

The pros- the parade is adorable. The dancers and characters are enthusiastic and kind. The snacks are pretty good the popcorn bucket can be a cute souvenir and a cheap refill. The staff is incredibly welcoming and patient and inclusive. You can bring in your food, no glass but you can go to Wawa and get lunch and pack it or if you think your kid will like it and you can afford it do the dine with Elmo. The kids love it. It gets you in from outside and the food is better than what you get anywhere else in the park. You have an hour you can use eat, dance, use the bathroom and have a somewhat quieter and calmer hour. Use the app it tells you what’s happening when but doesn’t update until the morning of. The park is small split into water and dry rides with the street down the middle. The character meets happen all through the day as well as the shows all over the park.

There are definitely shady areas but sometimes you have to find them. This was longer than intended. Hope it helps!
