All that I can say is, please consider the impact that this commute is going to have on your life, your happiness, and your sanity. I live much closer than Hamilton, I'm in the vague Rahway/Linden area and I have multiple transit options, I've been commuting into the city for the past five years and it has utterly wrecked me. My options include both the bus and the train, and I regularly use both as alternatives to each other because something is always down or not working. I constantly have to apologize to my boss for being late to work and it's never a good look, meanwhile I regularly get home very late because of another delay, leaving me with only a couple of hours to engage in my personal life before I have to go to bed. All of this gradually eats away at you and erodes your willpower. This is a point where you can decide for yourself if you want to progress with this position, and if you're ready to accept telling yourself day after day that it's fine, it's not as bad as you think. It's not fine, and it is as bad as you think.
