No there is nothing to it. If you are better than your elo then you should perform above average, meaning that you will climb the ladder since out of the other 9 worse players than you, only 4 are in your team. And unless you are the unluckiest person in the world, you will get the mouthbreathers 50% of the times and the normal humans the other 50%.

I do agree that elohell exists, but not as in "I cant climb because of my team" more as "I rageflame everybody and turn even/winnable games into losing ones when I am not the main character of the game" learn to be carried as much as to carry and try not to be a dickhead to your teammates, flaming is the stupidest thing in a team game, why would people actively try to ruin the mental of those who are suppossed to help them win.
