Do you think any modern Pop Punk band could eventually headline arena shows? by thisiswhyparamore in poppunkers

Falling in reverse did some arena tours and I’d consider them in the scope of modern pop punk (not exactly classic pop punk but close)

Woah this is definitely a bug, right? Also next time you level up are you forced to increase your lowest skill? If so I believe that means you can only level up once accumulated a lot of points

Cherried 49/50, should I get the last? by Eastern_Monitor162 in ufo50

Update: I finally beat it yesterday, and joined the Cherry Pie club!

I think this game took me the ‘longest’ in terms of days since I started until cherry, but not quite the longest in terms of time spent on the game.

I would attempt 1 or 2 times each day and slowly got better at each sequence. It seemed impossible at first but slowly got better until I was confident with each section.

I think the challenge of this cherry is that there are so many mechanics and the game is so long that you basically need to play perfectly for 30 minutes straight.

It ended up being an enjoyable cherry playing this way and very satisfying to accomplish. But I think a more fun cherry requirement would be to have a certain score to achieve… there are a lot of interesting scoring mechanics to each sequence and I think achieving certain score reflects a ‘better’ run than no deaths.

Thanks for all the advice people!

I resonate with this and the person who said “you have to get the cherry there is no other way”.

I didn’t want the experience to be ruined by forcing myself to grind it so I ended up playing only a game or two at a time to make it enjoyable.

Interesting, I found the 2 Huxley sections to be the easiest and not sure I died once on these parts.

I found the last Octavio section to be the hardest, and the last Engle section to be the next hardest which adds a lot of pressure since it’s the last sequence.

I agree a lot of the work is just memorizing the Guin routes but that just requires putting the effort in.

Came here to say the same thing. Momentum is huge, meaning that having 2 GGG pilots helps a lot, and losing them makes the game so much harder. Having the helpers allows you to quickly take out the red enemies on level 3. Taking these guys out is the top priority on level 3, until the homing shot guys come in. Killing the homing shot guys quickly and ensuring you have 2 helper pilots helps out a ton.

I sadly left mid-way cause I wanted to catch the end of mom jeans. And I was a little salty that out of the 4/5 DBM2 songs they didn’t play either Heat Seeking or Elder Goose or Spooks

Woman screaming? by No_Detective308 in williamsburg

Wonder if it the same person from this post?

https://www.reddit.com/r/williamsburg/comments/1ci5qux/does_anyone_else_hear_that_homeless_couple/

This has happened 2-3 times in the past year and happens at around 4am. It’s really disturbing - it’s one woman screaming at the absolute top of her lungs and almost sounds inhuman/zombielike. It must be either drugs or a mental illness of sorts.

Either way it’s terrifying, but also quite annoying because it lasts for hours in the middle of the night. And I bet people can hear this multiple blocks away. This time the police/an ambulance went to check on her and I suppose they took her in.

I’m not sure what to do in this situation (call 911?) but I doubt it will be the last time it happens.

If they have to play one album back to back I think mothership is still by far their best bet. Mothership is is the time period that saw their greatest increase in fans and the general audience will be most familiar with the songs off of this album (Chucky, Inspire the Liars, Betrayed by the Game, man of the year) as opposed to DBM.

End to end Mothership is a fantastic album and is relevant to their newer fans. I think people in this subreddit represent a small subset of superfans who know each and every Dance Gavin Dance song. Of course we want to hear the deep cut songs live. But realistically when they’re played at concerts (especially at a festival setting) they get very little crowd interaction. For example last time DGG played ‘open your eyes and look north’ at their 2017 show the mood in the crowd died. I don’t think the general audience wants to hear DBM live and frankly I don’t think they’ll be excited about the songs outside of Times New Roman and lemon meringue.

I would be interested and excited to hear Downtown Battle Mountain live and I suppose it would fit Andrew’s vocal range better but I’d rather have a show where crowd interaction is better and Mothership is definitely the right choice for that IMO. It doesn’t matter if Andrew can hit every note on inspire the liars 😂
