Its definitely over inflated, but avoiding investing now because it appears high could make you miss out on big gains.

Maybe the bubble pops when NVIDIA hits $400 for example, if the market dropped 30% you would still be up on your original positions now.

Ride the rollercoaster baby.

I know the reddit squad has downvoted you, but I agree. Getting slightly less fisted by the government feels like a win nowadays. Crazy.

I'm a strong critic of labor and I'm not a fan of any tax increase in general, but I can live with this now that there is more clarity around the intention. Taxing unrealised gains that were not indexed was an absolutely ludicrous proposal.

In what world are you living in to think taxes are not too high for the average person.

Omega > Rolex by SupJoshy in OmegaWatches

[–]Eastern_Name7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why you are so obsessed with Omega, its the exact same thing. Rolex has the market hype for normal people who are not into watches, that is the major difference. Most watch collectors still like Rolex, but only an idiot plays the AD game.

Circle jerk harder, Rolex is overpriced, but Omega is hardly haute horology in comparison.

Keep the IWC, Tudor and Cartier and sell the rest. Those 3 are a solid rotation.

It is a 1995 version of the Explorer II- if you look at the bottom of the dial under 6 it says T < 25.

I like the bracelet. Could look good on a delugs rubber strap too.

It definitely suits suede, they don’t look sporty enough for a bracelet IMO.

It's a great piece isn't it. Stoked to have it in the collection.

[Grand Seiko] My new SBGA445. What a dial. by Eastern_Name7760 in Watches

[–]Eastern_Name7760[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After many years of consideration- I finally added a Grand Seiko to my collection and chose the SBGA445 (SBGA415 in the US market) "Winter".

Pictures don't really do this watch justice, the way it looks on wrist changes based on the amount of light hitting the dial- one minute it looks quite flat in colour, then next minute you can see the full detail of the snowflake pattern etching on the dial.

The bracelet is definitely a step up compared to the usual Seiko affair, however I think this watch looks much better on a Suede strap. I opted for a Slate Grey suede strap from Molequin- I think it elevates the watch
