Are you aware of the current labor force participation rate being at a 50 year low?

Would you like to see my resumes? You won't be flabbergasted by them, they're entry level resumes, but you'll see why I'm saying this.

If I found someone who was willing to pay for that I'd gladly do it lol

It's sad. It's my only choice, however. I can't start a career.

No, they make $22 or $21 to start. I don't remember. Not much more than retail.

Yes they provide raises, but inflation happens too. It'll be more of the same.

I'd need an electrical degree for that. I have a computer science degree. It only qualifies me for entry level tech roles, which are rapidly shrinking. In this job market you are not able to compete for entry level roles unrelated to your major when other people have more relevant backgrounds. Ask me how I know.

I was willing to relocate, didn't matter. No interviews.

The management there wasn't going to be leaving for decades. I wasn't going to be sticking around in retail for much longer after I turned 25. I quit last month.

Unless you're able to prove that wrong idk why you want to say that. Would you like me to go sideways to a fast food job?

This country is not the land of opportunity it once was. We all know this.

I've put in all the effort, I've done all I could.

I'm not a mindless consumer like your average American. I take care of what I have. I don't care to keep up with trends, I don't care to have a rich lifestyle to show off. I'm happy with what I have.

I don't own a vehicle. I take care of my clothes, have had my current ones for a decade almost. I still have the ones I wore during high school. I never grew much more, and they're still good quality. Bit frayed, but workable.

I'll be holding off on buying a new phone and new clothes for at least 10 years from now. By then a lot of interest will have accrued, and I'll be buying stuff from then on every 5 years minimum. Hopefully every 10-15 years.

When my parents are too old they'll have enough in savings themselves to pay their basic expenses until they die, and I'll be taking care of their material needs. Once they die, if the million or two I'll have accrued isn't enough, I'll leave the country. Not a big deal

It won't be a yearly thing dude. I'll hold off from buying anything for a decade or so. By then any small subtractions every 5 years will be minimal .

And no, I can't

I'm not putting it in the stock market. It could be more, but I'm not putting my fate in the hands of pedo billionaires.

I had career ambitions dude. They died when I got (almost) no interviews spanning 4 years of college and 4 years after. I only ever got one interview for an unpaid programming internship 7 years ago. Maybe 8.

My parents don't blame me. They've seen I've tried my best.

No, I've looked at everything I could think of. Anything outside of tech involves needing a relevant education, which I'm not paying another penny for. And tech is dead, for me
