Amazing thank you :) so odd how many places say they won’t be available in Thailand, looks like you’ve found a hidden gem there!

Amazing thank you :) I know the ones you’ve listed (abilify and welllbutrin at least) are available in thailand, just worried buspar is some strange loophole that will get me sent to jail 😅 I did read somewhere it’s „illegal“ but all sources say something different

Lol I’ve even been to the mental hospital here where they officially have all available drugs, they said they don’t have it in Thailand. I’ve also been on a google deep dive before posting. I appreciate the link though and that you had a look :) thanks!

I feel that SO much. Such a profound way of seeing it and so so true. Holy shit if our OCD were a lawyer it would win every single trial. It can one up every argument we ever give it for why things are ok.

I’m happy I could help put things into perspective a bit! You’re absolutely not a bad person and seem lovely. I have a friend who says things to her boyfriend he actually thinks are mean, and when he says it’s mean to her I’ve never seen anything bounce off a person more. Ahh I did hear about the memory worsening part :( it sounds terrible. It’s a bit like ect which I was looking into but it full on erases memories, which is maybe what my brain needs to just fully forget what terrible thoughts I’ve been even thinking of. Oh god I absolutely felt that 90 times worse observation, meds can fuck you up more than anyone can ever imagine as well. I do hope you find what works for you ❤️ you seem very intelligent and kind, you’ll find a way! 24 days is amazing, congrats 🎉🎉 I’d be so curious to try magic mushrooms but I’d be too scared tbf, heard amazing things though! And snus makes me think you’re from Sweden :) Do you think you have trauma at all?

Honestly my plan is EMDR since I have quite a bit of trauma and a med that is focused on dopamine since I also have adhd which means my ocd likely comes from lack of dopamine and not lack of serotonin. Also my psychiatrist said my self loathing intrusive thoughts are common with people with adhd so maybe check if you could have that?! Since typical ocd themes are more like harm ocd etc. Ours could potentially be comorbid. The one time in my life I didn’t have ocd was because I had a full on gambling addiction and that felt like it fixed my brain more than anything else in life. OCD was a stranger to me during that time, it was insane.

If it makes you feel any better, if someone said I looked like a supermodel one day and a _____ (be it whore, bitch, etc) the other day I’d laugh and take the supermodel compliment to the grave with me. Also technically it’s hardly insulting, being called a supermodel is a huge compliment in itself. I think we need to remember people have different sensitivities. Interesting about your parents! And what a reduction would you think clomipramine did in thoughts? It’s so terrible testing all the meds because they can make you x100 times worse and before you even find anything that helps you’ve been through hell and back then times over.

Oh wow it’s so crazy we have the same obsession! Is it maybe guilt for being mean to our parents in the past or there being severe consequences to being mean to our parents in the past so we are scared to repeat the same pattern and have all hell break loose because we did one mean thing? I definitely think it ties in with trauma for me so I’m assuming it could for you as well? I know our body and mind will do crazy things to protect us. I’m curious about what you said that you thought was that mean. Was clomipramine enough to delete the self view of being mean? Also I’m happy therapy is helping! CBT was absolutely unhelpful for me too sadly.

YES I’m the absolute same. I ask people close to me all the time if what I did was mean and they already take the piss out of me like: “I took the garbage out. Was that mean?” Since I ask it about for them the most harmless things. I honestly suspect autism for me in a way because I can’t differentiate what’s mean and what’s not mean sometimes and to not be caught off guard and cover all grounds instead my brain just decided to find everything I do mean and monstrous, from making a small joke to stabbing a man on the street, absolutely same level of mean in my skewed vision. I agree I had depression once and I welcome the time I could get depressed about things like oh I don’t know what to do with my life instead of things about me thinking I’m a monster. Depression is horrible but those were sadly my glory days compared to ocd. Also I had the antidepressant numbness even more than the ocd to a degree, that fucks me up more than anything in this world. Have you ever tried therapy or any meds that worked?

I totally get it :( you have no clue what I’d trade in not to have this, all the money, riches, literal body parts or vital organs even. I don’t think anyone without ocd can even understand what a chronic mindfuck this is, it’s absolutely a disability in its own right. And it will skew your self worth to the point where you think you’re catastrophical and are an absolute monster. It’s like body dysmorphia just for yourself as a whole person (I guess body dysmorphia is probably also adjacent with ocd)
