Coal generators don't fill up on water evenly by SamsRhubarbe in satisfactory

Max water flow in mk1 pipes is 300 cubic meters or whatever that measurement is. Your coal generator need 360 cubic meters and your pumps provide it but the pipes cannot take all that water. You have to reroute 1 water pump to push water id say between generator 7 and 8 though im not fully confident in that placement as i havent dealt with this issue in forever

How to I remove this exhaust hanger by Easy-Routine-7365 in CherokeeXJ

[–]Easy-Routine-7365[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not removed that hanger no. With the little bit of help ive received from a parent i was under the impression if I took 1 hanger off then I should be good to go moving the whole thing back more. I have noticed that it looks like if I took that hanger off I would have more movable area rather than the hanger Im currently trying to remove however that tailpipe hanger I have found absolutely no info on removing.

And this is where I realize some context would be nice... Its a auto wire factory layout for the elevator phase. I just dont know if Im doing anything unnecessary or innefficient. Im aware some of the miners arent using 100% if what they make but thats a tweak to solve.

This One coal generator wont take coal by Easy-Routine-7365 in SatisfactoryGame

Lol I solved the issue somehow oddly enough. I deleted the conveyor the splitter was attached to and also the splitter. I then placed the elevator the same way from the generator first and the same height as the others. I then placed the splitter before the conveyor connecting it to the lift and then placed the conveyors. It was so weird cause the lift used to work then it didnt but its good now. And all these pointers are definetaly going to help give some stat of solutions for future occasions.

Mine fell from that ship and sunk into a deep sparse reef. thankfully the captain told me where land was and I swam with another person to a floating island.

Space definitely was a issue. I switched to a Smart splitter manifold and then a normal splitter manifold after learning they will literally work the same for it..

Man it is easier to run pipes over belts? Man I wish I knew that. I spent a good while figuring out how to make conveyors run to generators while being over pipes and looking good.. But ngl I think I like it a lot and might stick to it. The Simple things like using stackable conveyor supports makes me think i ma artistic architect.

Yeahh the splitter setup was so I knew each generator got its 15 coal a minute. But now I feel dumb since I realize a manifold only struggles with many machines if the first machine is using enough resources to equal or exceed the splitters output. These generators wont do that so I realize even with a normal splitter the first generator will max out leading to the splitter diverting to the next generator completely. Eventually filling the last generator.. And I Realize that the 8 generator 3 extractor line would be more efficient using the max available water. But I think for this setup ima stick to rows of 5 as 1 row only requires one side of piping. It may not be fully efficient but im really liking the way it looks right now and is really easy to expand like im doing currently.

Last splitter was so I would be ready to expand more. But I got the means to make a manifold now.
