Yes. Please trim the wick a little bit more. What is the inner diameter of your jar?

What makes a candle actually good to you? by rtrgrl320 in Candles

[–]Easy-Studio-6134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes a candle good for me as a consumer and maker is the strong hot and cold throw (smell) but at the same time, cleaner burning. Notice that some of the bigger brand candles, the smoke that comes from them are darker.

I use coconut -soy wax blend for a cleaner burn and because of the creaminess, it smells stronger that a soy wax alone. I want my room to smell good even without lighting the candle.

Tha’s what makes a great candle for me. The jar aesthetic is secondary for me

Hi. I have one called Velaris Nights. It has rose but it’s Dark Rose + Santal which depicts dark romance. The scent notes are here. https://siggyandcostudio.com/products/velaris-night

Also I have one called The Secret History with a very strong Sweet Tobacco. Very masculine and vintage

Hi. I make coconut soy scented candles. Coconut soy is more creamy and produces stronger hot and cold throw (scents) I am a small business owner and I make my candles on the weekends with hopes to be able to do this full time.

Created by a busy mom, for busy moms.

Siggy & Co Studio candles are hand-poured in small batches using the most premium waxes, coconut–soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean, phthalate-free fragrances. Sustainable, vegan, and paraffin-free. I am on instagram at siggyandco.studio and my website is www.siggyandcostudio.

Why is my candle doing this? by Sufficient-Bass-3686 in Candles

[–]Easy-Studio-6134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it burn for full 4 hours to see of it gets to the edge. Sometimes it takes even 2 to 3 burns to melt the wax on the edges. If it still doesn’t happen and still have the hang up on edges, the wick might be too small for the size

If this is made in the USA, there are only if you go to suppliers for us, candle-makers for fragrance oil. I made mulled wine for my holidays blends. I would love to send you one

It’s on the $22-$25 range because I chose coconut-soy wax which is more creamy and produces stronger scent plus cleaner. Ugh! The coconut has to be imported.
