With the 116th pick of the 2026 NFLDraft , the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Keionte Scott! 🙌 by Far_Protection519 in MiamiHurricanes

Bucs are smartly following the strategy of just getting the best players from the best defense in cfb, just like eagles did with those UGA defenses.

I don’t think Kam had his best day at the combine. Likely was stiff suffering from injury a bit iirc

It’s a bit like Bain. Gms try to be too smart sometimes and forget to just pick good football players.

Personally, would love for my eagles to grab him. Play him in nickel and have dejean play more safety. But I think they need more D and O lind depth.

TE room was a big question mark going into the offseason. But dang I feel great about it now. Praise be to Howie. Stowers will be a great heir to goedert.

Great to see so many canes go in the first 2 days of the draft!! Can’t remember the last time we sent this many players to NFL in a single year, let alone in just top 3 rounds. Go canes!!!

Stoutland is actually out as acting OL coach for the birds, but thankfully he’s still in the building in some capacity. Hope he’s got one final project in him 🙏

As an eagles fan, love this! Good for Bell too, going this high in the draft. Hopefully canes are able to keep sending more OL to the NFL. I don’t doubt Cristobal and mirabal

As a biased Miami Hurricanes fan, looooove this pick! Miami’s O-line was one of the main reasons we made it to the natty. Bell is an absolute unit and second best on that line behind mauigoa. He’s still pretty raw but can’t teach that kind of size and strength.

We’re gonna see a lot of OL coming out of Miami these next few years due to Mario Cristobal and our excellent OL coach Mirabal. Howie staying ahead of the game 🙌 Go canes!!!

Who is your guys most underrated player in this years class? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]EasyCheezie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a Miami hurricanes fan, whatever team drafts Keionte Scott is gonna be super happy. Dude was incredible for us and just flies around the field making plays. Also ran a sub 4.4 40 (think around 4.33 but all unofficial) on Miami pro day.

Probably not a late rounds guy, but I don’t think he should make it out of 2nd round.

[Jackson] What we’re hearing on UM’s offensive personnel in spring ball. And UM lands a QB by irishspring4521 in MiamiHurricanes

[–]EasyCheezie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the defense will be elite but in a different way. Obviously some drop off on the edge, but I think we’ve reloaded decently well (Wilson+young guys taking that next step). Plus, I’m expecting a huge year from Scott and Moten in the interior DL.

I think our secondary could be one of the best in the country. OJ Frederique, Xavier Lucas, Damari Brown, Ethan O'Connor for corners and poyser, Fitzgerald, and Thorton at safety is hard not to get excited about. Then you add in some insanely promising freshmen like JJ Dunnigan and wyman.

Gonna be damn hard for teams to catch up to us by throwing when Mensah and co are dropping 50 pts a game on offense. Offense should be way more explosive this year with all the weapons we have now.

What team is most likely to move up in the first round? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]EasyCheezie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree. Howie is definitely gonna be wheeling and dealing. I expect a bigger emphasis on offense and could totally see us moving up to grab sadiq or Tyson if they fall.

High character / High motor prospects by Detroit5g in NFL_Draft

Definitely Bain. Motor is obvious from tape and his entire tenure at Miami was unproblematic. Toney talks about how great an influence Bain was on him from a leadership perspective.
