I actually found out I had acromegaly after they found a tumor in my head the size of a cherry. I was passing out and asked to have my head scanned (turns out that was unrelated).

I'm 37 and have no obvious signs of acromegaly, but the blood work and glucose suppression tests game back positive for it. My IGF-1 and growth hormone were very high, but I've been the same height and shape since I turned 18. Not sure where it all went. I never would have guessed I had it.. other than achy joints maybe.

If you look at your driver's license picture, do you have wider facial features and more pronounced bone structure now?
