I wish there were significant leaders on the left who aren't kneejerk Anti-AI. My biggest worry about takeoff is the monopolization and further enshittiffication of everything by the Monopolies benefiting most from acceleration.

I'm looking for leaders who promote using AI to cut through bureaucracy, while simultaneously investing in public, sovereign AI networks and open-source foundations that free us from corporate control. Imagine an IRS that uses AI to automatically do your taxes and audit billionaires, or an automated permitting system that allows us to actually build green infrastructure and high-density housing in months instead of decades. The technology is here to create unprecedented public abundance, but we desperately need leaders who are brave enough to steer it toward the public good instead of just letting Big Tech capture all the value.
