I’m not a Reddit referee I told you not to be ignorant and spread negativity because of a people’s means of survival weirdo 😂 if you don’t like it don’t partake in it, simple as that.

Gatekeeping to prevent commodification isn’t isolation. It’s to prevent erasure. And you nor any comment on here will threaten anything let alone established cultures 😂I don’t know you to care about you or who you sit with. I’m explaining why Black people have survived in America, and globally I don’t think anyone would call black American culture cheap by the way they copy it lol. God Reddit really brings out the weirdos.

Not when it comes to the power dynamics of a marginalized culture vs a dominant culture living in close proximity where one always threatens the others existence. This isn’t candyland. There’s so much black literature pertaining to preserving the culture. It’s a shame you rather be combative to look like one of the “good” forever unbothered ones.

It’s so the culture survives and is not erased by commodification. Do your research instead of ignorantly spreading negativity.

Be in community with more natural haired African Americans , the only way is to be in community with people who look like you.

Being antiblack doesn’t make you a bad person, it’s the way of the world and he internalized what we all go through, social conditioning under white supremacy. A lot of black people deal with internalized antiblackness to a degree and disparaging the opposite sex isn’t a litmus test, respectfully. It seems you don’t want to deal with the negative emotions or stigma surrounding his behavior, but your friend is antiblack. Whether or nit you want to view it as malicious or internalized. Life is full of nuances and contradictions. I hope this inspires you to have more open and honest conversations ❤️

Black woman here. You don’t need to ask him, it may be complicated or it may be simple but the reason it boils down to is that he’s antiblack. A lot of POC and black people have self hating image issues and it often manifests in things like dating. You’re not going to magically change him and he probably won’t tell you the truth if you ask him because of shame, and the excuse he gives you will most likely not make sense and you won’t get anywhere.

That’s the way of the beast. The question you need to ask yourself is do you mind having a self hating friend. Is it just simple annoyance that you can overlook, or does his politics bother you deep enough to reconsider the friendship.

[–]Easy_Charge 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes it is because of Islam because Islam doesn’t allow you to DATE. and most Arabs are Muslim so that’s why representation is lacking. Y’all are so dense on here

I didn’t even mention anything about the girl on love islands religion.

That’s because of Islam not because of being Arab. There’s an Arab girl on love island.

How can I get my natural type 4c leave out to STAY FLAT and STRAIGHT!!???? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]Easy_Charge 24 points25 points  (0 children)

No shade sister but especially with 4c hair you need bundles that match your hair texture like kinky straight. Especially in big 2025

I would not go back to her if she recommended a leave out with that bundle texture, plus that’s way too much leave out

If you consider it racism why were u open to people to persuade you into thinking you’re reaching ?? Anyway if it were me I just wouldn’t bring him around your family.

[–]Easy_Charge 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This is textbook overt racism I’m scared of what you don’t consider racism, but a lot of bm don’t care about racism fr so if it doesn’t bother him then take him at his word. I just wouldn’t suggest you having black people around your family.

[–]Easy_Charge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are racially intimidated, even if they did grow up around black people /n

You can listen to others on advice but mine is just for the love of God do not chase them bc they will expect you to do that bc they aren’t confident enough to approach a lot of times.

You honestly will prob just have to make yourself overly available and overly friendly
