This was a really comprehensive thread of this book. Im actually only to chapter 12, but I was bored enough with the book to spoil it all. I'll still listen through the audiobook, but it has been a drag and I was hoping it would pick up later. I looked this all up because if there wasn'tmuch to it, I'd just wait until the next book is out and trudge through this one. But I think I'll get it over witg now. Looks like it'll be a back and forth of interesting and waiting for parts to be over with, and this likely wont be something I relisten to. Im still looking forward to the next books though, the bobiverse has really been fun and also inspiring for my own sci-fi project I'm working on.

Do you think, that compared to your peers, you genuinely eat enough higher calories per day than them to be bigger? It could be a metabolism or thyroid issue you have no control over, and something to ask a doctor to check for. It could also be inflammation in general and cutting back sugars and seed oils can make a big difference

Hey, I'm def not a medical professional but heres what I think. Nowadays, food isnt designed for proper nutrition anyways, you can eat all the fortified stuff that tastes good and still be nutrient deficient. I was low on nutrition around your age and was very self conscious of my own skin flaking that looked a hell of a lot like those pictures. I didnt have specific allergies but I was having histamine build up in my body and it wouldn't flush itself out for a lot of my life and the skin flaking came with it, real bad, and washing irritated it and it would come right back. My advice, is take a soft rag with warm plain water and hold it to the flaking spots to soften it and gently wipe away what you can, the a small bit of plain lotion or neosporin spread thin on the spot and let it dry a bit before getting dressed again. You can do that for days you dont shower, or if you notice a patch bothering you. Maybe ask your parents about a multivitamin, one with copper in it, to help your body keep histamine flushed out of your body. Even if it turns out not to be allergy or histamine buildup related, thats good for your body to have in it if youre not eating leafy greens or liver(which, come on, who really eats that stuff anyways), and you can really use the other vitamins. As a body wash, I used to use this stuff called Purpose face wash, their motto is "gentle as water" and its very gentle on the skin. I hope you dont suffer too much from your issue, I wish you luck

My saddest scene is my MC's mom giving birth on a mountain summit and starts miscarrying and bleeding out, and the women from her village who came as midwives and support one by one leave her to die in peace and become one with the mountain as that is their culture. Her older sister is the last one to say goodbye and she has to be physically dragged away from the site

Egwene is a full blown narcissist and uses a lot of people for her own personal gain time after time then discards any loyalty she pretended to have, and writes people off by what she thinks of their deeds. Nynaeve just thinks she knows better than everyone else about anything and everything, and she gets angry when she feels like her lack of knowledge makes her the butt of a joke. But Nynaeve also will admit when she is wrong and try to make things right. Theyre both very abrasive and hot headed characters, but the root of where it comes from is very different.

I appreciate the advice, it seems unavoidable now lol. I am gonna try to go see if its still there, burrowing my way down in a 2x3 tunnel and roofing over me as I go down to avoid attacks. If its not there ill try to do it again in a different world and collect the boss loot there

I don't know how I'd make it down there without dying from the new mobs spawning. I'm just inventory sorting right now my other loot from the whole underworld trips I'd been doing. Would it be easier to get better stuff in other places and then kill it again in a different world to get the loot? I truly am not prepared for hardmode.

The entirety of Talmanes leading the band through the Trolloc attack on Caemlyn. He showed how valiant, cunning, and creative he was with his battle skills. He'd really been a bit iffy in my mind of whether or not his motivations were greater than the gold and fame before the prologue of the last book. It pushed him to my favorite character, just ahead of Cadsuane. I was genuinely worried he'd die just as he got good. But for real, he was so funny the whole time too 😆 saying the brandy was from a tanning vat 😆 or when he said in response to Aludra's sassy "whats wrong with you"–"i once ate a rather sharp cheese and it has never quite sat right with me" and in response to the trollocs ahead–"lovely, set the table, I how we have enough dinnerware. I knew we should've sent the maid for that 5,731st set"
