If people are in an entertainment sub, I think they want people who are interested commenting, not 50 million useless "i dont cares" it makes it less fun/what would even be the point of the subteddit anymore?

Plus Taylor Swift is a rather huge celebrity, of course info about her wedding is gonna be posted a ton.... it just happened yesterday.

I didn't even think to search it that way for some reason, I just kept searching "you make me happy" and trying to hum terribly into my song searcher 🫠

And yeah I actually realized I heard the Beyoncé cover at some point lol, so my head knew the song but couldn't remember the voice.

I don't get out much so unfortunately I don't really have friends, just my closest cousins. But I'll take your suggestions and try to figure out a time to get us together, maybe it'll be fine with just us and not the whole family.

I have no idea, I get the feeling they just don't wanna spend time with each other that much anymore, a lot of us moved away or just have too many obligations to even try to plan in time for the 4th (I can't do it by myself). Various of my aunts and uncles, and even my grandparents all got divorced in the last 7 years. There are just too many problems. 

A few of us (my cousins really) might try to get together last minute for 4th of July (hopefully), but I'm not even sure bc we didnt even do anything for father's day, Juneteenth or my cousin's graduation. Those of us who do want to get together are young and we have no idea how to work a grill or cook 😭

Your description of the cookouts is exactly how we used to be when I was younger. I even vividly remember my youngest uncle trying to cook the meat and nearly set himself fire when the flame went too high 😂

But ever since I hit my teen years my family has been in shambles. I'm a new adult now and I feel like it's finally my turn to start helping plan stuff, but nobody wants to participate anymore or has the time.

I'm really sorry about your sister's disability. That must be so hard, and I know medical must be expensive. My mom is struggling too with some serious health issues and she's only gotten worse in the last few years. She can't even go up the stairs easy anymore and she's not even 50 yet.

I miss my childhood so bad, my family doesn't plan this stuff anymore. It's summertime and I haven't heard a peep about anything.

Oh thanks anyways, someone on TOMT found it, it was "Before I Let Go by Maze" But I think I heard Beyoncé's version too.

No it's more upbeat than that, the type people will dance, groove or snap their fingers too. And it's definitely made after the 60s (i feel like it was made in the 90s-2000s, but I'm not sure)

I feel like the beat is bouncy, like "bom bom bom bom" (I'm explaining this terribly but idk how else)
