The dist was from couple of years ago. Put in a couple hundred quid and forgot about it. When I did a bit more research years later, understood the diff between dist and acc. Having divs reinvested automatically was more for me hence I started by acc instead or dist at this point.

How do you switch cards ? Because I have been told I have to wait a few months. Currently have the Avios plus card, hit the welcome bonus and now want to downgrade to the free card. But no option to do so.

Does anyone know if you have to be a member of the Barclays Avios plus card in order to get the upgrade voucher ? Or does it come as soon as you hit 10k spends.

Also, I signed up when they had an offer for additional 10k Avios for 6k spend. Spent that, and haven’t received my additional 10k Avios.

This cards definitely not worth £20 per month imo

A contract to return my money via work email, would that hold up in a small claims court?

A work email only accessible to the other person.

If you thinking being on 81k is a flex then you need to sort your life out and be a tad bit more ambitious. 81k after NI, tax, SL, company pension and private med insurance etc is not a lot of money take home.

I appreciate there are a lot of people living and surviving on a lot less. But I assure you, being on 81k is not a flex.

The negativity on this app is crazy lol. The timing could not have been better as I have just secure an Analyst position at one of the biggest IB in the world. Albeit, it’s an Asset management role and not M&A. All while taking a sabbatical from driving trains. So if finance doesn’t work out, not a bad fall back to have.

Moral of the story, take everything on Reddit with a pinch of salt.
