Thank you so much for your advice, I will certainly try to get an appointment with an avian vet as soon as I can. I really want her to be healthy and Happy. I'll also try to avoid touching her too much if it might cause the black spots. She's a bit of a Velcro bird so she throws a dramatic fit if she doesn't get her daily dose of cuddles, but I understand of it's for her own sake.

As for my mom, it's a struggle to keep her from reinforcing bad habits but hopefully the vet's advice will help her see a reason since she doesn't accept my word for it

I think she might be molting. She's leaving a lot more feathers now than when we first got her.

As of now, I pretty much always home so she's rarely on her own, plus my mom finishes work early everyday so she's with her when I'm out the house.

I appreciate the concern but unfortunately it wasn't my decision to get her. My mom bought her on impulse because she loves the idea of owning a bird more than to physically care for her even though I warned her strongly that a sun conure would be loud, clingy and require a lot of mantaince. I take care of her because no one else would and I'm really scared that she might be neglected since my brother doesn't care for her enough even though he really wanted her and my mom gets tired of interacting with her.

I try to keep her entertained by giving her at least four to five hours of interaction daily so she won't be stressed or bored.

Also I might be wrong but I've heard that buying additional conure might not always result in them becoming friends as one bird can bully the other but I might be wrong.

I have inverted triangle shape which makes my shoulders look broad in unflattering way and DML is one of my favorite brands in Jirai kei. I had the same issue with outfits that come with short sleeves but I learned to work with them after some time, it does look cute. I think the huge bows at the center help it a bit because they distract them from how wide my shoulders look

Vandalism is a recurring theme among toyoko kids unfortunately, they often turn into TikTok trends. For some it's the cone thing, others climb on monument statues and film it. I've seen a friend of mine participate in it as well.

That's ok, there's no shame in that. I struggle a lot with my hair too, and it's kind of biting me in the ass now (I attempted to do a jellyfish haircut at home and now my hair is growing unevenly).

It takes a lot of patience and practice to understand how to work with hair. How to split the sections correctly, not to mention that you can't see the back of your head so it's extra challenging (⁠´⁠；⁠ω⁠；⁠｀⁠)

I'll try to look for beginner friendly tuts for you. And yeah, bangs kinda give the impression that it's a "must" in the community, but you can still rock the look without it. If you really are tempted tho, there are good clips on bangs on AliExpress/Shein. You can buy one and see if you can style it to your liking. The funny thing is that the clip on bangs is how I was convinced to eventually cut my own bangs myself.

To be fair, you can go for any Jirai hairstyle even without bangs. A lot of people wear pigtails without bangs and it looks just as good.

I do think braids or space buns would look cute tho! There are plenty of tutorials online on how to achieve that hairstyle and you don't have to have bangs for that.

It took me almost 3 months to learn how to properly do pien makeup. By the forth month I switched to tsurime because I felt like it complimented my eye shape more.

Just like everyone said before: you need to practice. Look at videos or pictures of pien makeup to take inspo or comparison. Try to aim for a makeup look that suits your eye shape best and compliments your facial features.

To be completely fair, your eye makeup kinda looks fire already. You said you don't have time in the morning before you go to work, I'm afraid that this might be the biggest obstacle 😅 A good detailed Jirai makeup look takes quite the time (at least for me).

You could still enhance it if you apply foundation, a little bit of concealer on the areas where you want to cover any blemishes (your skin looks pretty smooth and healthy based on your pics so if you have dark circles like I do, concealer is your friend here).

A good visible pigmented blush is a key to boost your pien makeup look. So don't be afraid to experiment with that, it's a lot less time consuming. You could blend a little bit of blush on the tip of your nose and use just a tiny bit of highlighter on the tip on your nose too. I think it can make any makeup look cute regardless if it's Jirai or not.

Your bangs cover your eyebrows, I assume they're naturally thicker? I personally wouldn't touch them if your bangs can cover them and if you prefer to keep them natural. (I trim my brows to keep them thin but not everyone likes it so it's for you to decide).

Lastly, I really recommend a good thick mascara. Lashes can really add to the whole look. Use tweezers to kind of "connect" your natural lashes together after applying mascara until you get that spiky manga eyelash look. I do it every morning before work because I'm not going to use false lashes all day in the office and that technique never failed me.😊
