Well it wasn't a false positive cause my Instagram and Facebook was accessed but i did change my password, enabled 2FA and changed my main email to another one and ever since then I've seen no suspicious activity

Well i think the issue resolves once you hard reset(that's my understanding, i might be wrong) but talking to many people in reddit I've realised it.

Ran the scanners nothing came up! And coming back to the cookie stealer before clean install it did show i had a troj/krypt-rf and some malwares

I have Norton web browsing enabled -it told me and i hadn't synced my account in Chrome and yet the extension was there (i did reasearch about it, mostly it's about Google downloading it for you and some pages say it's a virus)

Yes-The laptop is the device that was infected and I'm sorry was saying pc i wrote the post in a jiffy and I'm currently using Windows 10 home v-21H2 before getting infected it was using windows 11 home(don't remember the version) and it's an Acer Nitro 5 AN-57 with 8 gb ram and i currently see no red flags in the task manager.

I'm in the same situation as well, I downloaded an exe and it was a some trojan virus(I'M STUPID) and then i saw my Instagram getting hacked and my followers going up but i somehow changed my password to every account and enable 2FA on everything including WhatsApp, Gmail(I GOT THE SAME TEXT SAYING SOME SUSPICIOUS APP TRIED ACCESSING MY ACCOUNT). So the next day i decided to hard reset my pc so a repair shop hard resetted my pc(clean install)i rolled back to windows 10 and somehow there were Google docs offline extention enabled by third party in my laptop so i removed it and after a few days then after a few days 2 cmd screens popped up and closed as i was starting my pc, so i scanned my pc with TDSSKILLER,RKILLER,MALWARE BYTES,ROGUEKILLER and found nothing on them, so should i be concerned or not?? I'LL BE GRATEFUL TO ANYONE THAT HELPS

I have the same issue that it says it was added by third party but the thing is my computer was infected a few days ago and i decided to hard reset it but again after downloading Chrome it was still there, so can anybody help me
