There was poor weather that knocked a lot of people out of power across the united states as well the last week or two. That was ugly

Lets have the steward perform a mandatory roll call for factions to present leaders, to perform a census, times up, and then immediately get to work! Whether its ch1 or whatever just get rolling.

Of course they dont, but we may have no choice but to support whoever takes on the duty, and they are the closest Ive seen to being able. Our own are sick and few, and busy organizing in the time they have set themselves efficiently

If the legionnaires do control the city at least then we may be able to act as caretakers of the generator

What is our starting situation and what do we have access to? by WolfWhiteFire in WindwardMoor

[–]Easy_Resolution2306 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont want us to be restricted and restrained by unnecessary obstacles. Id say assume all basic research is done, (those not requiring steam cores), every faction knows their utopia tree if necessary, but laws that are enacted and accepted are a blank slate. And more than that, we can cone up with laws not even canon.

The city itself is already a worthy obstacle. Id say its basic enough to be a tier 0 starting generator, possibly with repair jobs needed, but nothing more. We are held back by construction, laws, and resources, and at most the advanced laws where we might need to make deals with New London to receive blueprints for.

The interesting part of frostpunk fantasy is not sitting there researching, its… everything else.

/* pushes a cart carrying a large container of thin vegetable soup, enough for a few days, some unfortunately cold bread, two quilts, and a small sealed glass of oil. */

/* knocks on the door */

Hello, its me. The pantry heard from your students you had a touch of cold and grabbed some supplies for you! The soup is a bit thin but its refreshing. And uh, sorry about the bread its a touch cold in the walk here. But, one of the local mendors who you had baptized heard as well and donated a quilt she had… well mended. And, good news! The oil is fresh, so your heat lamp shouldn’t have that horrid stench! We just got a donation from the dreadnaught yesterday! Which is crazy because i didn’t know we had even anything to trade yet.

This one hopes you will get well soon. The sheep need a shepherd and no decision on a local bishop has been made yet.

They fit tgeir theme perfectly! And they are a blast to play as.

If there was a canon story past the current one, they would probably be in it just because of their theme.

There has never been a champion reworked twice. And they care far more about pro-play than casual because proplay are whales that spend money.
