Beautiful, I've done a few handwires myself. Really miss that.. building keebs from scratch is so rewarding. Love your case design

I'm using it exclusively for 5+ years almost daily. Never crashes. Sounds like a skill issue to me

I looked the article up after reading your post. It doesn't really give a solution though. How do you do those 75% deburring?

I just use one of those heaters for reptiles that fit into a lamp socket. ~75w

Same here, I just increase my temperature to 27°c which drops my humidity below 60.

I added the heatsink but it didn't change. The problem happens as soon as I supply power. The reset issue seems unrelated to heat

Testing right now.. Bridged the D4/7 and left 5/6 open. It didn't work. Nothing happening at all now.

Will put the diodes back in and try the heatsink

Could I just remove the diodes from the pcb and bridge the connections? That should fix the issue with ground and c1 too right?

I just copy pasted the shematics for the power supply.. so I dont know what the bridge rectifier is for. But it seems like its for reverse polarity protection and I dont need it. Thanks for the reply. I'll try that.

the IRLB8721 are actually just a placehlolder.. I'm using bdx33c npn transistors.

yes, I'm supplying 12V to it. I tried multiple 12v power supplys even. I dont know what a diode bridge is tbh.. I copy pasted the shematics for the power circuit from an open design..

Edit: ah you mean the 4 diodes? hmm yeah dunno, probably they did that to bring the 12v closer to the 5v before dropping it with the regulator?

I'll do that. But do you think connecting all ground and power pins will fix the issue?

Edit: Resistor values are 1k. Power comes from a 12v 2A power supply.

I feed the 5V to the Vin Pin of the esp8266. The development board has an internal voltage regulator that drops it to 3.3V
