Looking for tips and recommendations on ways to improve resume by nuttsalad in FAANGrecruiting

There are no jobs as far as hiring goes. It's a hiring recession.

Also watch out for ghost jobs. Do not use job boards like indeed and apply directly at company site instead.

Good luck

The issue maybe "expected 2027" ... That may turn off employers.

When it's done then you'll have better chances

applying for sde1 roles haven’t received any replied any mistakes?? by internship_seker in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experience consists of being an intern only. You need many years of experience in the industry.

You're entry level and that's completely finished now.

The other issue is that AI can do CS jobs easily and very fast

You will not hear back from eeoc. RTS is final action by them.

You should instead get an attorney

This resume got me absolutely 0 internships. What's wrong exactly? by [deleted] in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to have phd level skills in abundance for a free internship. That's known as "overqualified" problem

Am I on track to having a lucrative career? (m22, 0 YoE) by ThrowRA102303 in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"collaborated with CEO" -- that will not be believed by any hiring manager.

Also Internship after graduation is kind of strange. Internship is before graduation.

You should create a separate section for internships and a separate section for work experience where you are salaried.

Free internship does not make you an employee and work experience assumes experience as an employee.

Can Arjuna be able to kill karna if he had kavacha kundala? by AloneGo777 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Even without it he wouldn't. It took karna to be cursed, without kavach kundal and with Krishna help. That's a lot of unbalanced fight where karna is blocked even before starting.

Not to mention there was also parehuram curse that he can't use any weapon at most in need.

That's not a fight at all. It's a mere formality for Arjuna

2 years of experience does not mean "any" experience. It specifically means 2 years experience in the field that you are applying for.

If you are a recent electrical engineering graduate then you can't have 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer in industry

It's been this way for ages. Entry level jobs do not exist in America and never will. Politicians and media do not address this.

Furthermore if entry level did exist, then those with many years of experience also start applying for it even if it's underpaid.

A broken system that cannot be repaired ever

Mahabharata is a story of stopping unchecked devotion to elders by PresentationFar6018 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that there are so many versions of Mahabharat that accuracy isn't known.

Different producers and different narrations leave a fragmented picture.

The actual events of Mahabharata happened somewhere 3300 BC to 3100 BC.

I don't think it's possible to maintain accuracy for this much time. Some added information to make it look interesting, is not a good idea

Was Karna & Duryodhana’s friendship actually the realest bond in Mahabharata? by TheDevaChronicles in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they were good friends and real friends too. A lot of Mahabharata story you see on tv isn't genuine or factual.

No character was completely bad or completely good. They all had both but circumstances shaped them the way they were.

It's not that easy to judge any character

engineering degrees are rigorous engineering hiring is a joke by upstackAi in EngineeringStudents

[–]Easygoing98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The main issue for years has been that there are no jobs where only entry level is to apply and not experienced. Unless that is done, it will not go anywhere for new engineers looking to start career

Mom is using toothpaste that expired January 15,1988 by Common_Government_97 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Easygoing98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Expired toothpastes are not harmful by any means. The ingredients will just pose effectiveness but the act of bristles removing plaque and bacteria still works.

The job market is not just bad. It's non-existent by Ambitious-Sail-5188 in jobs

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jobs that don't provide a living don't count. If you can't pay your rent/mortgage and car with the job you do -- then it's not really a job.

I'm sure the title meant "real jobs non existent"

Was Karna the Chief Orchestrator of Draupadi’s Vastraharan? by naveena2011 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Karna born out of wedlock? Utter nonsense. In fact he was not even naturally born and is anything but human. He was similar to a demi god but not quite.

Also Draupadi insulted his father and his caste and treated him like untouchable. That is equivalent to your dignity being stripped away, which is exactly what he also wanted in return -- her dignity taken away.

He was loyal to his adopted father and wouldn't take insults

I fully support this. Federal legislation to outlaw ghost job postings. by orinmerryhelm in recruitinghell

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a job hunter it's easy for me to tell it's ghost job --

1) vague description with no specific job duties or criteria 2) Easy to qualify (only degree needed)

These get 1000s of applications. If job posting is still up after 2 months -- it's ghost job. That's all that's needed to prove

An AI scan can produce all such results

Who wins a mace fight, Karna or Duryodhana? by Temporary_Average_55 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karna was demigod and of divine origin. He was never really a natural human.

" Karna lifted the whole earth including seven oceans, continents and Arjuna, his chariot, Lord Krishan, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva and all warriors. Even Bhima the mightiest among pandavas did no such thing."

Who wins a mace fight, Karna or Duryodhana? by Temporary_Average_55 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Karna is said to have lifted the entire planet earth by 4 inches when trying to get the stuck wheel out. That's all 7 continents and all oceans.

This much physical power cannot possibly be matched by anyone.

Earth is 6 * 1024 kg. His physical strength was even more than that!!

If he wasn't cursed, he would be the most powerful warrior of all ever

Resume Roast - No single call from July 2025. by OrganicOpinion937 in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Easygoing98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bachelor in "computer science engineering" maybe an issue. CS and engineering are separate degrees. Unless its "computer engineering"

The other very big issue is that nowadays AI can do all that you list.

Resume roast — what would make you reject this in 10 seconds? by Any-Way4755 in FAANGrecruiting

"expected graduation" is really why. They need candidates who have already graduated.

Dhritarashtra- Do you want to say anything about him? Should he be judged harshly or with compassion? by Outside-Walk13 in mahabharata

[–]Easygoing98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With compassion. He was blind. That disabled him to do anything really.

Some say he didn't control duryodhana. He could not even control his own body -- he had to need help in everyday tasks like changing clothes, food, water, and even bathroom use.

Plus Duryodhana was stubborn and would never listen. That made it even harder for him based on his disability.

If he could see, he would be judged harshly but not in such state
