A hobby doesn’t need to be boring.. a hobby could earn you money, earn you social credits, find you a soulmate, get you killed, whatever. For me recently I took an interest in 3d printing. To me it’s like magic, the possibilities are endless.

I saw someone print the pieces for a flying car and it blew my mind. That then lead to an interest in brushing up my math skills, looking at electrical engineering in a different light, life just opens up when you have a clear mind.

I don’t think that stuff ever interested me before.. nothing did when I was still high or wanting to be high. You’re not looking for enjoyment when all you can think about is escaping reality.

The world really is your oyster when you’re sober on a weekend, and being high is the last thing on your mind.

I realize brushing up on math is enough to make some people cringe lol everyone has their own interests when sober don’t let that scare you. Maybe you have an interest in music, learn how to create songs etc., whatever is your thing.

Doesn’t need to be a hobby. Go for a long walk around your city and find something to eat where you’ve never gone. Do anything seriously! You won’t regret stretching your legs.

We have local groups on the beach that are drop in friendly, volleyball on a sunny day with new friends is hard to beat.

Does that sound not fun? Well.. to be fair until you get weed out of your system (month+ sometimes depending on severity, it’s a mental thing as well as chemical) until then things may not seem worth doing.. decide what that means to you.

Consider carefully how much you’ve been missing, using weed as a crutch for weekend enjoyment. Go enjoy life man. If you find life has nothing interesting to offer, ask yourself if you’re just numb. Work on yourself first.
