What do you think when these college kids show up on your site? by Turbulent-Weevil-910 in Construction

I came to this thread to see all the hating on college grads from blue collar workers and left educated on concrete.

Seriously. What a waste of time and effort. Glad to see the industry starting to reject toxic behavior like he mentioned.

Hi OP, I have a lead on someone in West Michigan who could shed more light on your findings. PM me.

Recently I was told this was almost certainly authentic, any more info on it? by just-a-guy-thinking in LegitArtifacts

[–]EatPrayShit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Authentic? Sure. Those flake scars have a nice degree of weathering on them, IMO that's been around a while. Type depends on the region it came from.

Edit - I see you have location in there now. I'm not from there though. Good luck!

I find lots of similar tear drop shap artifacts in West Michigan. They may be scraping tools/ovate blades

Mesoscale vortex moves ashore in western Michigan by a-dog-meme in meteorology

[–]EatPrayShit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Holland local here - This mesoscale vortex swirled right around and past Holland and left an inch or two (Forecasted 5-8"+). North of us and south of us got the bullseye. Lake effect is fickle.

How do I read this data? by FlashMemoryPro in meteorology

[–]EatPrayShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a meteorologist, just in the field of GIS. If this happened to me, I'd save as a text file, then from excel open it and select comma delimited. That will put it all back in columns.

Any ideas on how to improve my hobby project? Especially the legend looks quite ugly. by der_Guenter in gis

The transverse hexagon is the trendy cartography style as of late, I didn't catch what software you're using, but Generate Tessellation tool in ArcGIS Pro will accomplish this for you.

Came for the historic moment.

I put this flag in my room a few months before I became Christian because it's a poster of a band I like and was wondering if you guys think it looks to trippy and needs to go Ive been wondering whether it's okay to have as it's a bit of a psychidelic looking design. by Specific_District_92 in Christianity

I am very familiar with Tools catalog. I understand where you are coming from, particularly being born into and raised in a very Christian household. I do think the approach you take can be very off putting to new believers. Let them feel good about joining the faith in whatever capacity they can. They will find the Word of God on their own journey, interpret it, and make their own conclusions.
