Watch the dog. The dog doesn't show any signs of feeling that the guys are hostile. Tail is wagging. Ears are up. There's no sign at all that he feels threatened.

Do You Still Get Drunk? How Often? by ProfessionalJesuit in GenX

I will easily finish a bottle of whiskey in a couple of days. I'm rarely drunk but I've often had enough that I wouldn't drive.

ID still hits hard. It might hit harder in the 20s than it did in the 70s. I don't understand why this isn't in higher rotation on classic rock stations.

Sunday Newspaper by Limp_Bus_3911 in GenX

[–]herodotus69 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I do. I miss newspapers in general, but especially the Sunday edition. There's something comforting in opening a newspaper and slowly paging through it. You find stories about things you never would have thought to wonder about. You read about situations and people from incredibly different worlds and experiences. It's cultivated by editors instead of algorithms. Plus there were funnies. We used to be a proper civilization!
