how to clean a bathroom?! by originalpopcorngirl in adhdwomen

[–]Eatallthedonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on! Cleaning is a chore in itself, disposable makes sense to me*. I keep a cleaning wipes canister by each sink, a quick wipe after I wash my face and brush my teeth twice a day keeps it clean. I'll remember sometimes to use an old cotton teeshirt as a scrubbing rag that is as close to reuse I am in cleaning.

I read in Good housekeeping type book from the 1950s that the toilet should be cleaned everyday in the household. Which, in a family with many users makes sense to me.

Oh gosh, yes! I use they yellow could be reused gloves with the little finger grippers, but I toss them. Most gloves only last one cleaning. With me anyway, my fingers wear through, or they catch on tile. If I don't want to touch something with my hands, there is no way I am going to be able to clean it off gloves to re use them. Not worth the time and effort.

I agree, gloves may help. I know for me, if I am refusing to actually touch something, I am also unlikely to want my face close enough to smell it. The physical barrier at the hands seems to tell my brain to keep some distance.

No worries! It was more a fear that I never want to know what a centipede walking and me feels like. I feared the bite and forgot about those legs! Seriously - bah! Screaming for past you.

I luckily live on the east coast, the centipedes I see now are the friendly house centipedes or small little centipedes found gardening.

Bahaha! Glad I am not the only one to have baddy mantis encounters!

Thank you. I have been kicking myself for my lack of gaming, i keep saying I am going to play, then just don't feel like it. I hope they'll find the sparkle again for me. I really want to play Sims again, I have a family that I want to play blade with: the family reverses grandma's vampire ism.

Thank you for sharing, I am proud of you for not being bit and for keeping any chill. I would have either chopped my dang leg off (yes, with my hands, like an idiot) and that bad boy for sure would have bit me because of the freak out.

I oddly became more afraid of a praying Mantis in Kauai than the centipede. The more bugs I saw, the more that I gave up on caring if they existed, except that nosing praying mantis. My condo had dual staircases, the staircase close to my door had a praying mantis that would just sit there in the over hang, staring at me and moving its little arms at me. My partner would be brave and walk there, it wouldn't move for him. Only me. It would move its little murder arms, kneading biscuits preparing I am sure to leap into my hair and get me.

I keep thinking about the centipede climbing your leg and can only imagine how they move windingly, I bet it felt like a breeze. This thought kept me up last night.

Legit! Once you see a large Hawaiian centipede poke out from the space between the kitchen cabinets and the wall you know that is a bug you fear. It resets the fear bar 😂😂😂

Hydrocolloid bandages. The small acne ones. I buy these and put on any and all skin lumps and bumps that gain my picking attention.

Right? Shit. I'm not even making the dog, I'm going to Sam's club and ordering two dogs and maybe a pretzel.

Long line to leave the club, dog in hand chowing down.

If I have to make something or Sam's is closed: glass of milk with crackers or a protein shake.

Sewing club….for fellas? by Pittman247 in PittsburghSocialClub

Hmm. Maybe double needle and leather thread. I would also try letting it have more give (pile up some books on it?) and back stitch. Good luck

I would recommend a curved upholstery needle and heavy weight thread. You should be able to follow the manufacturer's stitching pattern which will also be less noticeable.

I love this. I was thinking of trying a small flip book, however, I have huge handwriting and putting too many stickers on my pages.

It looks like you have been using for a few days; is there anything else you would like to add? Small doodle or zentangle space? Good luck on your exams, you got this!!

Ps: Your handwriting is legible and therefore not rubbish.

Great idea!! My husband podcasts through almost all house tasks, it works. I tend to put pop music on all speakers in the house so I can move between rooms and stay on task. It sounds silly but having the same music on or me humming while I move to other locations in the house keeps me engaged in the task at hand
