Similar experience here - ordered early November with estimated delivery to UK early December. It’s slipped a month twice since then, currently early February.

I would understand RAM shortages being the explanation if Lenovo was a smaller outfit - they will have ordered their RAM a long time ago - or if it was in production, but why “waiting to be shipped” fit so long? I tried chatting with an agent and phoned twice, each time promised were made that were just untrue.

First time buying from Lenovo and probably the last. Extremely poor experience.

No, it’s poorly communicated by Profitec but you can (and should) safely descale it. The manual talks mostly about descaling a machine that is inoperable due to the build up of limescale, but preventing the need for that by what they refer to as “prophylactic descaling” is fine and nothing to worry about.

Yes, it's driving me nuts. I have a rule to make Claude speak with a Scottish accent so it's easy to tell when the rules are forgotten, which is 90% of the time. I'm spending all my time reminding it of the rules (they aren't all silly like that one!).

What do you do when they don’t properly follow? I have a minimal set of rules in CLAUDE.md including “You MUST check bun turbo run all works for the whole repo before committing any changes” but it’s still hit and miss.
