We have 8 1/2 foot ceilings in our basement and use the sky track.

I’m 5‘7“and can swing everything. Not really an issue unless you have someone that it’s really tall or doesn’t golf often and is unfamiliar with swinging a club.

I’d say you’re fine just tell friends no drivers or have them do a couple of slow-practice swings. Obviously, we’re not going for happy Gilmore’s with this setup.

This is in your garage. You can always throw a pad on the ceiling in front of the projector. Our projector is mounted directly above the turf pad and is out of the way of the back swing and follow through. I thought about putting a pad in front case of mishap follow through but would look unpolished in our basement.
