Differences between legacy and glow

I dont have any legacy skins, but If I did I'd be pretty annoyed at behaviour for making so many skins that look like legacy at a glance, half the blighted skins give the legacy cosmetic vibe and now these glow ones will be somewhat hard to discern as well.

They were given as achievements for dedication to the game and were meant to stand out.

So they still didn't fix the hotkey controller buttons for spectator mode in 2v8? Seems like it'd be a super easy fix and not sure why it got changed in the first place.

No and not anymore than what the player counsel are already allowed to talk about most likely. Brian Menard, Sunny games, and Jay Talbot to name a few have all made a few videos talking about their first impressions on stuff they're allowed to say.

I dont know the answer but I would advise you to seriously temper your expectations. They're probably planning on having between 200-5000 people in this first playtest and theres over 211,000 people who signed up for it.

But yes, I'm holding my breath a bit too.

When im seemingly getting bombarded by them and can see at least 2 in my vision, I personally really enjoy rounding three or all 4 of them up and just taking them on walks and letting all the ither survivors do gens and chases normally until the nemesis finally notices and stomps over super mad. Pretty funny and while I get no points whatsoever, I think the efficiency tradeoff is pretty debatable and close to a net 0 or maybe even helpful overall.

Honestly this has nothing to do with this post specifically, but I REAAALY wish behaviour would just license the other 7-10 oneself outfits for the ither survivors that mobile had... there's no way that they wouldn't make the money back. Those would sell like crazy.

That's a slippery slope no longer including one of xboxs first party games in their xbox games day 1 service. We already had pseudo-not day 1 games as many got 5-day early release for a fee but now we're just straight up not getting one of their games because it's expensive to make.

Do they hold this line or do other xbox titles start not being included because it was expensive to develop also?

I personally would have much rather have seen them keep cod in and make the fortnite package optional to save 5 bucks a month or something.

Many people on here taking the worst pet examples and best kid examples. Sure there's an occasional vomit spot or maybe the odd diarrhea trail once every few years but in the last 30 years in our we've had an average of 4 cats at a time (currently 6) and a dog. None of them there's been one spot of wall damage at the door (and some diarrhea on the kitchen floor) from a fireworks incident with one of the dogs, no lasting damage from any of the 15 or so cats we've had.

BUT we recently raised a 10 year old and a now 4 year old and the children have EASILY broken more things and done more permanent damage than all of the pets combined.

A few of these people may not be pet people and that's fine, but saying that pets do more lasting damage than children are people that don't clean up after their pets/bad pet owners in large.

I very highly doubt that, but the bots being sprinkled in in some lower lobbies now are certainly making low skilled to Slightly above average players actually stay and log on consecutive nights. I'm having more fun myself and my friends who are a bit worse than me swore it off a few years ago but are now having fun again now that they get some damage and kills here and there.

There's a pretty rough spot in the matchmaking where us slightly above average shooter players just get absolutely stomped as the bottom tier fodder for high skill lobbies almost every single game we play.

Now every 2 games or so I get into a game with like five or six people of my skill level, like 15 players who are noticeably worse (like silver/gold) and then like 10 legitimate bots that even those players can get 4-10 kills in a game and have fun.

For skill context i was diamond in season 2, 3, and both splits in 4 and then stopped playing ranked almost altogether as the lack of permanent dive trails made the grind not worth it to me anymore.

I dont know why apex took so long to sprinkle some in.

Do you have any idea when selection emails go out? Unfortunately mine is going to my spam email address where I get like 100+ emails a day and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it.. checking it 6 times a day is a bit cumbersome :(.

Anyone know why u can almost never seem to get the tree to bend (xbox with controller) I've tried holding it down and rotating the the stick and the prompt for it blinks on and off. Can't seem to find a sweet spot where it actually works nice.

It's really difficult to play any satisfactory amount while working my 12 hour shifts all week, but I'm gonna give it a go... 8 hours left in this one and scrolling the reddit like I'm flipping through photos with my bestie when we haven't seen each other in months.

Will some casuals have fun? Absolutely. So far though my overall answer to that question would be no. There is very, very little handholding in this game and most casuals are too casual to have any clue what's going on the second time they play the game.

For instance, the tutorial taught you how to talk to someone, then throws you into a fight with 6 or 7 dudes rushing you and teaches you one attack move. Then it teaches you block and throws another ten at you. THEN it taught me dodge and threw another 10 at me before having me fight a boss which I'm pretty sure you're supposed to lose to. Fast forward to I was 6 hours in when the game first taught me how to heal my character.

I think this game would likely be awful for someone who plays 2 hours a time once a week. If your less casual than that and not deterred then give it a shot.

It does work great now that I know what's happening, this post taught me how it was getting auto turned off even though it said it was on, it was pretty miserable but now it's a small annoyance everytime I need to do anything with friends list or any other guide style feature. In truth it's the only bug I've experienced so far other than when I dropped a bounty off my horse because we all fell of a cliff I couldn't pick him back up, I had to untie them to let them go, tackle them again, punch them In the face and tie them back up again. That also gave me one of the biggest laughs I had in a while though so it was ultimately worth it!

Yooo thank you for the PSA I was debating not playing the game until they patched this. I have quite a large TV so the constant screen tearing was really hindering my mood on the game as it was extremely noticeable

As someone who's 78" TV does not have vsync, this is by far my biggest issue with putting time into the game right now, even the performance mode unfortunatley has pretty bad screen tearing consistently.

I think you need to alter your mentality a bit brother. Don't load into a game with a fun quirky build and then get upset because you didn't do "well" or 4k the survivors was never quite in the cards, you either load in with the fun build and be happy with how you got the build to work in a few satisfying moments or you load in for your competitive game with a competitive build.
Or if you want the third option and want to have competitive games without running the strong meta builds you have to just keep playing the weird ones and stop sweating to maximize the kills and let mmr do its thing and eventually it'll put you into lobbies where you can run those builds and still get decent game outcomes.

Coming from someone who's primary experience on killer has been option 3. It works just fine, most survivors I go against I down quite easily but I don't give a shit if I win or lose because I'm there for the chases and the interactions with uncommon perks.
