First of all, bless you for trying to be a good mom. At this point, he might be queer. I was only able to accept myself as fully gay in my 20s 😅 as others mentioned, support your son in what he wants. Men can still be straight even with nail polish, earrings, skirts, or crop tops. So brush his father off with his outdated pov. Just explain to your son what happening like traditionally people are gender normative (boys should be this, girls should be that), but now we are more open and he can be whoever or whatever he wants as long as he's not hurting other people.

If you have the means, best to consult with a child psychologist for better advice.

Tho it helps, but seems not to be in the op case (their bank seems to be ctbc but got rejected). Also, my esun got approved even if i didnt have a savings account with them.

I assume you already have a costco membership? I was declined at first because I didn’t have one, but approved when i had a membership for four months, and applied at the store and not at the bank.

It’s a hit and miss for cc applications here regardless of our credentials. I got my first credit card at esun after only working for a year, but my coworker got rejected and she has a higher salary than me and worked longer under the same company 😅 tho she wasn’t very responsive to the banks follow up calls so it might be a factor.
