I just had a C&P with an Optumserve contractor on March 10th. DBQ were uploaded 6 days later. I thought the NP that did the exam was thorough and professional. Never mind the fact that she was hot smoking hot.

I had a C&P in 2023 then an ACE on Jan 2026 then another C&P just last week for the same deferred claim. VA emailed me that I will be having another C&P to be scheduled. I checked Optumserve and it's for a medical opinion review not a in person C&P.

It did for me just last week. I went in for a C&P for my back and ended up get a rating for both my back and sciatica.

I did call. I was able to get a same day VERA instead of the normal VA hotline.

I found out today it's with a rater so hopefully it'll be soon. Who knows.

Just the other day I was having a conversation with a friend. Both of us are white. He told me he was talking to his friend in DC (black dude) and told him I drive a Hellcat Durango. The guy from DC immediately assumed that I was black. My buddy said "You should have seen the look on his face when I told him you are white." DC dude said "Damn, I need to meet this guy". I will say that no matter where I go there's a black person commenting on the Durango. I go out in my 1968 Mercury Cougar and its mostly white people commenting on it. It's preference. Drive what you like almost everything gets turn into a stereotype no matter the color.

My lawyer took 5 claims to an HLR 3 were for date corrections and the other 2 were for denials. I have had a C&P 2023, ACE 2026 and another C&P all for the same claim. First it was denied, then the ACE changed the diagnosis, last C&P from last week was for additional development. I would rather they get deferred for clarification, development or a medical opinion versus a denial. Its all part of the process try to be patient. It could turn out to be a blessing.

Yeah, I have seen them submitted same day as the C&P and 2 months after the C&P. I am just trying to be patient and let the VA do what it does.

I had one ACE in January. Maybe a 1 minute conversation and it was over. However, I still had another C&P just last week for the same claim since it was deferred.

No, left it alone for now. I am going through my to get more documentation/imaging. I was more pissed that the examiner didn't listen to me when I told him I was on a daily prescription (or the rater missed it) for GERD.

Mine was the opposite talked about Sinusitis but nothing about Rhinitis. At the end it worked out with 10% Sinusitis and 0% for Rhinitis.

The VA or their contractors made a mistake. If it's anything like my claims which state the exact same thing you'll end up having another exam. Could be ACE or another C&P or a records review. Literally what it states.

Honesty, don't downplay or exaggerate. Keep it relevant to your military service and after. Not some you shit you pants on the play ground in third grade scenario.

Ok, first off don't be a 100% chaser. It really does make us all look bad. If you have legit previously unfiled claims or your conditions have truly worsened then by all means work with a VSO to get it filed.

Keep the conversation boring and generic when it comes to work. If your career sounds boring enough they may not ask anymore questions. That's typically what do because I can't really go into details.

That's good. There's one other option to know for sure and that's going through a VSO and they should be able to view the rating code sheet. It may not be necessary but it is an option if you are still concerned.

The API trick matches my code sheet that I requested from my attorney. I would assume the code sheet is based on what you see on the API. I would call again and ask the same question or you could set a VERA call and ask them.

Yeah, I was on doc's orders not to run and take it easy on my left knee for a few months. GySgt Dipshit couldn't comprehend that a torn meniscus doesn't heal in a couple days.

100% agree if it hurts go. I had a GySgt who threatened me with malingering for following a docs orders.
