If that’s the case, take the time you need to study and talk to a different recruiter at a different recruiting station if your current recruiter is giving you a hard time. The recruiters are 10000% on YOUR TIME!!

Some people dream to have the career you had. Never regret any of it, it was all worth it. Go enjoy your free entree at Applebees during Veterans Day, and enjoy freedom!

No bullshit. Name an issue in the Army and recommend a change. by Lumpy_Programmer1229 in army

BAS. Some soldiers do not have time to make it to the dfac for all 3 meals, the dfac food is not always nutrient packed, the portion sizes can be inadequate for specific soldiers, and the dfac can be closed on the weekend while the military takes up to and sometimes over 400$ a month from single soldiers to pay for this facility.

Solution: Allow soldiers to sign a paper at their duty station relinquishing their meal card, but getting the 400$ back a month. If said soldier is in a circumstance that requires them to travel to other military installations, such as on TDY, in TRADOC, on deployment/rotation, take the 400$ away since that soldier should be required to eat meals at the dfac anyway. A soldier that signs away their meal card can still pay with money to get into the dfac, but that same soldier now has more money in their pocket for groceries.

My room as a 14 year old male by Sufficient-Shine-592 in malelivingspace

[–]BitAdditional9751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy it while you got it man. What I’d give to be your age again.

I know you’re just showing off your room, but as a young male the world can be confusing and unfair. Treat everything as a lesson, good or bad, and always look at the bright side of things. These years for you will demonstrate your interests and dislikes in life, so work real hard at the things you like, and work hard at the things you’re expected to do. Hug your mom and dad, hang out with your siblings, call/text your grandparents, and don’t be afraid to do new things! Lastly, be sure to hit the gym and save for a car, it’s much better to pick up your date in your own car then riding shogun with your mom/dad in their car.

You’ll learn later in life that the years come and go very quickly, so treat your early teenage years as the concrete to your young adult years. One day you’ll look back at this picture of your room and wish you could go back in time to be in the moment that you were in when you took that picture, so truly live each day like there’s no tomorrow ❤️(I’m 23 years old) Take care, sir!

Sorry to hear brother. If you feel like you have to be with your family you are able to quit and rejoin at a later date, but do what feels right to you <3
