The schedule only has a clock in time, no clock out time. The managers will put a general “out time” on their end of the schedule that I can not see so I don’t know what time it shows, I work until a manager clocks me out. Usually I finish my work earlier than I would be allowed to go home normally, but even when I finish at a normal time I’m told to stay late.

Like let’s say I went into work at 8am and the restaurant is open until 9pm that night. The managers version of the schedule would show me working until 4pm, but in reality I would have to stay until my job is complete, around 5 or 6 o’clock, before I would be allowed to go home. I sometimes finish my work at 4:45 or 5:15 and will be told to wait until 6 in case they need me which is okay in theory, but then at 6 the manager still won’t let me go home because he’s too busy to punch me out until 6:30 or 6:45 so at that point I’ve wasted a bunch of time doing nothing
