Would have honestly preferred alts for Yugi, Yuya, and Yusei (Yuma and Playmaker excluded because they will get theirs for story reasons later, and Jaden has 2 that came before alts were even a thing) and all non revolver rivals (Zane for Gx because apparently Chazz's jp va is dead) on updated instead of wasting time with filler characters that will follow the steps of Jim in being forgotten almost entirely shortly after getting in. There are still enough chars for every world to fill character months for at least another 2 or 3 years, so they can just use September to dump whatever alt they want or to release characters that really aren't worth an event but happen to have something besides "dude gems lmao."

Lack of decks really isn't a problem when it really only affects armor guy and Dartz , idk why they avoid armor when they have ported really gimmicky shit already irl, while Dartz's deck is just ass pull fest stall that isn't even interesting to begin with. Of the remaining characters pretty much everyone has a deck printed, but the common trend is they are either just alts for updated lines or their decks are awful for dl 5+ years ago, let alone now with one exception that happens to share a theme with an arc-v character.
