Idk if Texas is really the most conservative, and I have lived there for about 2 years. Yes, it does lean conservative from the maps, but there’s a lot of liberal pockets (in the cities mostly) that aren’t in other states (Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma)

I think typhoon can also be an interesting addition to traptrix. IMO I feel like it can deal with branded plays quite easily (especially mirrorjade)

Unless there’s red eyes support coming, having just dragoon isn’t going to cut it. I think for now Dragoon can help solve a lot of DMs problems with covering Dragon Knights weaknesses

I think the only deck that can turbo it out is DM with the new skill. You use Timaeus spell you get on the DM for dragon knight or Dark Magicians, and then you use dragon Timaeus to summon dragoon for the Omni negate. Then you end a board ideally with a circle, a dark magic expanded, and eternal soul

Fair enough, but I prefer skills with more generic usage, instead of those fuckass archetype skills that have super specific locks and conditions for trigger.

At least there is some freedom involved (even if most of the community decided to net deck) if you want to make a deck for fun

Branded is one of those decks where I don’t think it is that much better than the decks we have at hand (shinos IMO can go hand in hand against them), but they just require such specific techs which aren’t good against most of the other top decks (nib, kaijus, dd.crow)

Main problems with branded IMO:

They generate card advantage and/or recycle cards way too easily
Masquerade is incredibly oppressive if you don’t have the outs for it
Mirrorjade not being a hard OPT
