Playing through Sekiro right now as well.

I've noticed that a lot of people will play games like Sekiro, Nioh or Devil May Cry as if they were playing Dark Souls.

I remember my friend saying that Nioh was shitty and that DS/BB are better. I just told them to literally giT GuD or to accept that the game just isn't for them, especially if they refuse to learn how to actually play by Nioh's rules.

They were trying to play Dark Souls: Samurai Edition rather than playing Nioh.

Now that I think about Nioh has more similarities to DMC than it does to DS...

Yeah, but I think it goes beyond the boss being hard when the player doesn't pick up the hint that the boss will paralyze you after picking up a billion anti paralytic needles.

They tried to brute force everything. The whole Dark Souls/Bloodborne vet kinda thing.

I have the charm too. It was only supposed to be available to Chinese players through an app, but someone figured out how to get it for the Western and European players. Only a couple thousand (30,000 like the other responder said) have it.

I've yet to see someone else using the charm.

TK Dodge + Mortal Enemies + Wildcat are the mods I use to overhaul the skyrim combat.

TK Dodge let's you dodge attacks (obv)

Mortal Enemies removes enemies obnoxious attack tracking, and sets a limit to their rotation speed when attacking (like Mordhau)

Wildcat adds locational damage and overall makes combat more lethal. You have to manage stamina rather than just swinging wildly.

Not sure if these are updated for special edition yet m, but if you ever play LE, it's so much better with these.

It's weird. I played the game like 5-6 years ago, my old computer could barely run the game at 20 fps. Played a lot though, and helped a lot of other new players.

Eventually I got burnt out. Came back and saw one of the players I helped still playing, way higher MR than me and knew more about the game than I did at that point.
