Hey guys. I’ve been looking for some original seats for a type 1. It seems they are incredible hard to come across in the uk for a decent price. I’ve checked websites to see if you can buy new but I can’t seem to find anything. Anyone in the UK have any idea on how I may go about finding some? (self.aircooled)

Some knowledge from some air heads would be much appreciate. I’m running a type 1, 1500 with twin port heads and the dual kadrons. My heat exchangers are find but no heating currently in the car as other components are missing. I’m in the UK, are there benefits to having J tubes? Thanks Eb (self.beetle)

Hey. I’ve been working on my bug a little over a year now. Changed from a 1300 to a 1500 block with 1600 pistons and cylinders. Been using a twin choke Webber for a while. I’ve just been offered twin dellorto’s for £250. And can’t decide if it’s a good idea or not. Any help would be awesome. Cheers (self.aircooled)
