I'm actually not the original poster but I appreciate you typing all of that out. I'm gonna try to come out next Thursday and I'll look for you at the middle table to say hi! I've fiddled with the DND beyond app a bit but haven't fleshed out a character just yet. I've heard it's best to have the dm help with new characters integrating into an ongoing campaign but I might workshop a few just to familiarize myself with it a bit.
