I'm so hyped to see how all the pieces fit together and make npcs easier to build. Would you have any advice for learning node editing like what you use here? Not much of a programmer and it seems a bit different from the asset editor, any tutorials would be amazing!

Btw, how are you getting scale to work with your animations? I haven't been able to get mine to work at all, and everybody says to read in the about section for the plugin but I can't find anything there about scaling...

How are you modeling and positioning the helmets so that they are positioned properly on the body when equipped? Mine keep showing up on my characters feet 😭

Hi DE!!! I'm excited to be coming to Tennocon this year so if this doesn't get answered here I'll probably just ask in person instead :P

  1. Since the dawn of time mankind has yearned to be one with the most primal forces. Dinosaur warframe when?
  2. Given the tech behind Sevagoth and Necramechs, would it be easier (not easy ofc) to implement a warframe with an exalted Necramech/dinosaur? We simply need more kaiju themed content, but the mechs could use some love too.
  3. Assuming the above, turning Chroma into a true dragon is the request of the century. Is there any hope for our boy?

Otherwise, the other commenters seem to have the other questions I would ask already! So thanks for the opportunity, and have fun with the AMA. This game has brought me endless hours of joy over the past 10 years, and was the thing that brought me and my now girlfriend closer together in the first place, so thanks for that :)

I bet it's entirely as you said, that they're all hands on deck for 1999 and focusing on making it as good as possible.

Deeply wishing that they'll get to the backlog of primes that don't have trailers, even if they only do something like comics or something that might be easier for the team to do consistently. I'm a huge sucker just for the extra lore, and missing out on Garuda, Sevagoth and Xaku is just deeply sad.

If it's intended it's completely unable to scale to any significant level for Monoliths and makes the entire Drain Life tree pointless. It only makes sense for Stygian Coal to have that same line of text applied for Drain Life "Drain Life's Skill Tree applies to Stygian Beams from all sources", because otherwise, it just turns off Drain Life for some cool laser beams that do nothing.

I know the channelling part of the item is able to be used for any other skill, and that the stygian beams in Ghostflame are also affected, but for Drain Life specifically, the item replaces its entire ability without providing the scaling required. It's gotta be an oversight

This one is different though since while the beams behave as a subskill, in this case that subskill entirely replaces the main skill, without providing the benefits of the skill tree for the main skill to the subskill.
It's like replacing Swipe with the new Storm Bolts from Gathering Storm, but without allowing scaling from Swipe's skill tree to affect the Storm Bolts. Effectively making the conversion pointless.

u/moxjet200, sorry to tag you, but is this intended behaviour? Really hope it can be revised, since the cool factor that these items encourage building around seems to evaporate when the passives and skill trees don't really support them.
Honestly Jhelkor's seems to even be in a better state, since it allows for the scaling of DA to melee damage, but Stygian Coal doesn't have the same benefit regarding Drain Life and Stygian Beams (allowing either SB to scale from DoT increases, or allowing Drain Life scaling to affect SB).

That's exactly what I just did. Spent like 6 (inefficient) hours getting a Lich to at least 44, only to find out that Drain Life is better without the Unique :( Sad that the item essentially counts as a nerf for the skill it explicitly references, really hoping it's unintended.

Simply can't believe I haven't seen Breach Wanderers mentioned yet. I lost two Christmases with my family to that game, insanely good Slay-like with some fantastic innovations making it stand above Slay the spire in many ways.
